I'd like to get a few things off my chest.
I'll make it as brief as I can since you wouldnt read it anyway if I was to tell the whole thing.

The USA is all about the money nothing else. The Federal Reserve (a privately own corporation) is responsible for a lot of death and suffering around the world and in the US.

Do you think it's an accident that (only mentioning 2 most well known, tho not the only ones) when Abraham Lincoln was trying to create a new form of currency controlled and printed by the US government only, not the HUGE banks he got shot a justa few days after.
Not to mention JFK who was trying to do a similar thing plus he was negotiating with the Russians to end the Cold War in the mid 60ies, and tried to pull all troops out of Vietnam to end the war (you know, war generates incredible ammount of money if you have enough already to fund opposing sides, reasearches and so forth. Well it generates nothing but suffering for the average joe tho), well JFK was shot not long after he revealed these plans.

Just a few from the more recent history. What does Gaddafi (Lybia) and Saddam (Iraq) have in common apart from the fact that they both got demonized much worse than they actually were and thier cuntry's economy was on the rise (before US invasion ofc).
Thats right, they both wanted to bring forth an all-African currency conducting trade.
And it could have been directly exchangeable for gold. Well we couldn't have african nations having blooming economys could we?

Fyi the only reason the US dollar and the economy with it didnt collapse completely years or decades ago is because it is the world reserve currency
All cuntries MUST sell thier oil for exmaple in US dollar
A few tried to switch to Euro and I talked about Saddam and Gaddafi who tried to get away from dollar completely.
You can see how well it ended for them. US made up stories and started to fight the non-existhing and invisible yet deadly enemy, terrorism and totally wrecked thier nation.

yeah, but the thing is, how democratic is it when the same person wins every time thanks to more or less contorting the entire gov't around their finger and punishing and killing anyone who goes against them?

As much as I hate America policing the world, Hitler was also democratically elected.

Well, the USA government has supported military juntas, dictatorships and other regimes in Panama, El Salvador, Guatemala, Brazil, Venezuela, Chile, Bolivia, Cuba, Nicaragua, Dominican Republic, Haiti, Paraguay, Argentina, Iraq, Egypt, Pakistan, Philippines, Indonesia, Bahrain, Saudi Arabia, Yemen, Azerbaijan, Uzbekistan, Iran, Uganda, Liberia, Chad, Zaire, Ethiopia, Guinea. All of them Authoritarian regimes anywhere from a full-blown military totalitarianism to an elected leader who gave himself unlimited terms of office, at the time the US supported them whether through military, CIA operations, economic support, or political support.

I don't. I hate the US government for being incredibly hypocritical in their foreign policy. I'll give them consistency, though. There's that.

The US has never been a democracy. It's a representative republic. Look it up. Elect your state representatives better.

I love how there's always posts about how America is evil corrupt and everyone is an obese red neck riding around on scooters.

and I'm just here being an average 18 year old playing GTA while my country crumbles around me

Hitler was democratically elected...
It's only a democracy if the elections keep going.

Democracy is a horrible ******* thing to begin with. Democracy is a way for the ill informed ignorant masses to strip the liberties and freedom away from the well informed minority.

Boy, I sure do take your political memes seriously.
This post made me totally rethink the way I see America.

Yeah, 10 democratically elected governments, like Nazi Germany?
Today, the phrase "Liberal Democracy" doesn't only imply democratic elections, but also other features like civil right, freedom of press/speech etc'. I'm not saying the United States hasn't done some ****** up **** in its past, but not one truly modern democracy has been overthrown by it.

Hell, I'm a patriot and I can admit that we've done some pretty awful things, like aiding the overthrow of the Guatemalan government for the sake of the United Fruit Company in 1954. I think it's awful, but I have to admit that I take a certain guilty pride in the fact that my nation is willing to do just about anything to protect its interests.

<-- Besides, it's not like we're the only ones . . . .

That all depends on your point of view. A Russian probably views the invasions of Chechnya not as war, but as civil unrest in which the government was provoked. Others may not
