Actually there is a story to this.

The basic of it is, the blind kid is only Half blind. He went up to the "bullies" girlfriend and got in his face, Taunting him, looking at her, etc. The blind kid said he wanted to fight and everything I guess and they went at it. The "hero" didnt see what happened at thats why he did what he did. All the bystanders were supporting the "bully" cause they saw what happened.

Ill see if I can find the sauce where I read this.

He wasn't even fighting back. Didn't even look like he knew where the dude was.

Yeah but that wouldn't be the case if the bully was pacifistic in the first place. Violence is justified if used to fight violence...

While you're not wrong, holding a personal view doesn't impose it on anyone else. While it would be a better world were we all pacifist, there's no way that we can ensure that everyone is going to take that route.

The only thing we can do is accept the reality of what is, which is that some people are violent and we may be called upon to adequately defend ourselves.

As once was written "Were men angels, self governance would be the only government required ."
