I have an understanding with the spiders in my household. They stay out of theshower, and they only get to stick to the ceilings and cornors.
In return, i leave them alone. I dont bother them, dont vaccuum them, dont destroy there webs, nothing. Any spider that breaks this agreement is immediatly killed.

I'm hoping to one day have a small sub-species of spiders that lives exclusively on celings as a result of selective breeding. Because the ones that dont are killed off.

Oddly enough I got a similar story.. I had a web with two or three spiders living above my bed.. Like literally above it. But I never bothered them because they ate the mosquitos and flies. So we lived in harmony for a few months.

Then one day I noticed there was a couple eggsacks in the web.. and I succumbed to my fears. The adult spiders knew better than to attack me, but what of these incoming young upstarts? I didn't want to wake up covered in baby spiders.. so I crushed all the eggsacks. Literally the next morning I woke up covered in spider bites. The adult spiders were gone.

To this day, I do believe that humans aren't the only ones who take revenge..

reminds me
years back at my job, there was this balcony where a peanut-sized spider had set up his home....i decided **** it...looked around for a catchable bug, found a moth, then threw it in his web to feed him

after he bundled it up, i put a finger near one of his web strands...he came running over, tapped me on the finger with one of his front legs, sat there a few seconds, then went back to the bug

my first thought was "did spidey just bro-fist me?

It's good that spiderbros eat those bugs, but they should also clean after themselves.... I don't want these spiderwebs and mummyfied bugs hanging somewhere...

Funny enough the Bagheera kiplingi on the picture is the only vegetarian spider we know of.

One time when I was younger I had a spider living behind my bed. I felt like we had a mutual respect with each other. So I would find ants around my house and put it in the spider web for it to eat it. So I felt like if I don't bother it, it wouldn't bother me.
