my favorite part about this scene is the fact that ben burt (he did the sound for the prequels too right?) even made the sound of palpatine's lightsaber sound ominous and evil. it sounds like a hissing snake or something
Baneposting aside, my fav part was probably the music that came from it. Say what you will about the prequels, but John Williams did an amazing job, as usual
Agreed, I always get goosebumps when the door opens, it starts up and you see Maul look up. It's a shame they ended Mauls character so quickly until the Clone Wars show , he was a complete badass. I learned a couple days ago that the entire time he was on screen he never blinked until Obi ended his reign
And yes for as much as people **** on the prequels, and i agree on a lot of points, the third one has a lot of good moments for how much **** it gets, and i actually do like quite a bit.
unfortunately not. TR8R is probably the best thing to come out of the new Star Wars film, it's a meme so great that less than 2 weeks after seeing the film he already has his own folder in my reaction pics. But TR8R, a close as he may be to baneposting status, will not replace baneposting. There simply is not enough dialogue with the character of TR8R for the level of depth and flexibility required to reach bane posting status. It's a sad shame, because the meme it's self is banepost tier, and who knows how far it could have gone if the scene with TR8R had been longer, if he had been a more fleshed out character and not just a fleeting one for a few seconds of film. But alas, there simply is not enough substance there for TR8R to ever truly replace baneposting. The meme it's self is still, nonetheless, top ******* tier. We can still enjoy TR8R for how great an inspiration he has become in such a short space of film. God speed, PrayforTray.
Wasn't there even more to that, like there was a time or numbers and when used as a timemark for DKR it put you right in the beginning of the plane scene or something like that?
This character was the simplest and least cliche, to my understanding. He knew exactly what Finn did, and wanted to cripple him for it. He didn't monologue, he just called him out and started swinging. That's why people like him, he was pragmatic.
Although, it would've been had more impact if he'd simply shot and severely wounded him. Is a not-invincible protagonist too much to ask for?
let's petition for disney to bring him back to life in the next movie and turn him into the big sith who wants revenge on finn
that would make the greatest memes
Ok, so I haven't seen the movie, and I'm actually going to see it tonight. But this meme is getting ridiculous. I saw the clip of him being introduced, and I don't understand what's so legendary about it. Should I wait to witness it in theaters? Or can you guys explain it to me now?
I reckon it's also because we all root for the underdogs on the inside. It's a sign of strength to persevere in the face of adversity. To boldly face the same trials and succeed in them when one is by comparison worse than their allies is all the greater an achievement.
In the setting full of psychics and space wizards with energy swords and plot armour, it's goddamn refreshing to see that average dude with the dinky gun succeed in the same thing.
Honestly... I'm not very confident in this matchup for quite a few reasons, number 1, Packers have not been very competent since the Bye, 2, we beat all our rivals on the road, but somehow lost to the Lions and Bears at home, 3, to go along with 1, it's a simple strategy, stop Adrian peterson and we're golden, but they'll make it complicated somehow, 4, ARod is mad at McCarthy, 5, everyone is hurt on offense...
Your team has the potential. It's the coaching that's ******* yall over. Should be a good game nonetheless. The nightime slot makes it the last game of the regular season. 2 rival teams going at it for the NFC North Championship. It's practically set up to be THE game to watch.
Oh god **** the coaching staff this season, every single one has giant Egos this season, if you talked to a majority of fans here in Green Bay, we would ALL know exactly what's wrong with them, even the players honestly, but the coaches are so arrogant, ignorant, bullheaded, and down right in DENIAL that there's anything wrong with the team this year. It's frustrating, between both Clements and McCarthy they both give up on the run too quick and become predictable. They make losing Jordy Nelson look like a bigger deal than it should be (1 man does not make a team unless it's the QB).
What's even more frustrating, is that ever since our Super Bowl season, something has held us back, we've had great seasons one after the other, but something held us back be it defense, coaching, special teams, or something, this year it's coaching and offense of all things...
If I had the time or ability I'd take the adventure time opening and cut it right here so that it says "Finn the TRAITOR" and then plays the fight scene.
You ******* faggots actually think he will be coming back in the next movie or be getting a more fleshed out character? That stupid ************ is dead as **** and he wasn't even that good. It was just cause Fin is a **** cunt
