"A very important science, Biology deals with living organisms, their characteristics and their use in our society. Thanks to it, the value of Oil is revealed; and great advancements in Medicine become possible. They're represented by the Hospital, a late game food-production building. "

Or how about the realization that even if we gain the textbooks of knowledge to understand our brains, we will be spending over 200 years in denial thinking that we have spirits and souls.

If a soul is a metaphysical non-tangential part of the body, then brain damage and compromised nervous systems would not interfere with judgement, emotion, and sensory perception.

How about we accept that we're no more supernatural than the computers we are typing on? it's not necessarily a bad thing... computers can render incredible imagery and do countless amazing things- they just lack a will of their own.

Who's to say that we're nothing more than biologically constructed computers developed through countless eons of evolution? Do we really have to be so ungrateful for what we have that we have to dismiss its freakin' abilities for the sake of a mythical explanation....when...you know... the brain is clearly in the proven observable world?

Hell, even a seemingly retarded individual has the mental processing power to crunch numbers and make advanced calculations, it's just a matter of adjusting the mind and optimizing it to use the best capabilities of its hardware.

Some of us have good hardware, and others have poor hardware, but with the right optimizations, we could all easily perform wonderfully on the high standards required.
Through the use of mind-altering chemicals, stimulants, and regulators combined with the proper training, we can use our limited hardware to its finest. it all depends on the cooperative capability of the user.

This is why it's nice that our brains contain all of our information, and not our "souls".

Take for example if our personalities and existences were directly written into our soul's memory, this would imply that brain damage and nervous disorders could interfere with the memory writing process and "corrupt" the soul's memory, therefore giving a scrambled personality, memory, permanent neurological disorders for eternity.

Nice design, God
