So, a bit of a confusing upload this time. In case you didn't realize, the first two pick up where the last comic from my previous post left off. And ends just as abruptly. Sorry, folks, no romance just yet. You can come out of the bunker now.
Also a Thanksgiving comic because even holidays can't get me to post comics out of order. Yes, I'm just that dedicated. Ignore anything that was related to Christmas, that doesn't count. Hope you all had a great holiday, by the way!
If you'd like a mention, simply reply and let me know. As always, this stuff isn't mine. Everything's made by VanHeist, and you can go check his stuff out over at www.vanheist.deviantart.com
From the author: this is a concept sketch for a far-off idea in writing "Bomango" in the same vein as vanheist.deviantart.com/art/kaiju-come-awakey-165456246 . I love doing the small-scale character stuff with Gogo, Didi, and Andy, but I also love the idea of doing something outrageously apocalyptic with these characters.
Bah, enough justifying. This is a big damn kaiju-Gogo in battleplate undergoing regeneration and maintenance in Didi's enormous laboratory-fortress. Gogo can't be trusted to run loose in any other capacity than being used as a living weapon to slam other monsters off the planet, so once she's spent it's back to the holding pen. That doesn't stop her from making silver-tongued entreaties to Didi to let her go "just for a little while, come on, you can trust me...".
She's festooned with mechanical implants and other upgrades meant to restrict and control as much as to augment and protect. The big ol' horns are her "crown", as it were, although what exactly that signifies is unclear, but they make her head an even more effective weapon.
On Saturdays, cartoon reruns are piped into her brain, to her great delight.
Well, like I've said before. I feel like the artist is too emotionally attached to the characters to draw anything truly **** . But the story does definitely progress. In fact, he's aiming towards turning it into an actual webcomic with a beginning and end sometime this coming year.
As I've mentioned before, I feel like the author is too emotionally invested in these characters to actually draw anything **** .
However, the relationship does certainly progress. After the next comic series, Gogo's going to meet Andy's mother, and soon after *that* they're going to kiss.
I reckon the boy will get nerves of steel out of having her as a person in his life. After what she'll throw his way, he'll deal with just about anything with calm in his mind.
Just more motivation for you to figure planc movements, quanten physics and theoreticle multidemensionell plane movements to replace that asshole with yourself.
