**victorsin used "*roll picture*"** **victorsin rolled image**Do pharmacist is a dream job? I'm in the nursing program and it is supposed to be a good job. Now pharmacist is supposed to be only 2 years with no pre-reqs.
I was a tech for a while. You only really start making god money after a few years and the job is really, really boring. Pluss you have to memorize a massive ammount of drug info and other crap. I kinda gave up on it. Now I'm in computer science and its hella easier.
Hah, I did the same thing, was a tech in retail, got out and now I'm doing IT. I was doing it because I was thinking about being a pharmacist, but then I realized how much school that was and remembered I'm a ****** student, so gave up on that as there isn't much upward mobility as a tech if you're not gonna go for your PharmD.
Just realized from your writing you may not be in the US, so my other comment may not apply...so I have no idea for your country if it's not the US. As far as Nurse vs Pharmacist at least in the US it's no contest on pay, Pharmacists get more, and if you don't like bodily fluids and stuff like that, Pharmacy is the way to go.
What? 2 years? You must be thinking about a pharmacy tech program which some schools offer 2 year degrees from but all you need to do to be a certified pharm tech is take a test, but sometimes the ones from school can get an internship at a hospital which may land a better job than retail pharmacy.
Actual Pharmacists have a Pharm.D., a doctorate program, 2 years of prerequisites (Though a lot have bachelor's) then 4 years of pharmacy school, then licensing exams to become an RPh, which is a registered Pharmacist.
So... being a pharmacist is better than a nurse? How come? Please don't say bodily fluids or excretions in general. Bachelor of Science in Nursing is supposed to be a well paid job in the U.S. and yes I live in the southest part of Texas (Sadly), but at least my goal is Nurse and then Physician Assistant or a Nurse Practitioner.
If we're talking purely income, Pharmacists make more. But you also have to take into account the crushing student debt from Pharamcy school, whereas a BSN is 'only' a Bacheor's.
And then it also depends on where you wanna work, Pharmacy is kinda funky in that Pharm Techs at hospitals make more, but less in retail. For the actual Pharmacist it's reversed, they make more in retail, and less in hospitals. Nurses can work all over though.
PA's and NP's can make quite a bit though, both have a median salary of around $95,000, but that's a lot of schooling too. Random fun fact: PA's typically take more pharmacology than MD's.
Other salary info I Googled:
"According to PayScale.com , most entry-level RNs earned salaries ranging from $39,930-$69,985 in February 2014, with a median wage of $50,152. On the other hand, the median salary for an RN possessing a BSN degree was higher at $57,759."
"The median annual salary for a pharmacist was $119,280, or $57.35 per hour, in 2013. The best-paid 10 percent made $147,350, while the lowest-paid made $89,000. The best-compensated pharmacists are employed by merchandise stores."
My bad I was talking about Pharmacist as Pharmacist Technician not actual Pharmacist. I now will proceed to search some Pharmacist education. I don't know if there's a lot of demand of pharmacists as there is of nurses, but I might look out for that too.
Thanks drinpa :3
Hah no worries, BSN makes more than techs, so you were thinking right there.
Not sure on demand for Techs, and what you need to work as a tech varies by state. I know when I was in CO I just got a job at Walgreen's off the street and they actually pay for you to get certified. Tech schools also offer programs for pharm tech and it's a cert I think, and they have you do an internship like I mentioned above, so yeah, different routes to go there, just do your research.
And yeah, I don't think there's as much for acutal pharmacists, but there's still demand, but pharmacy schools are churning out peope left and right, a bunch of new ones have opened. When I was working in Pharmacy as a tech some of my older pharmacists mentioned they're pretty sure the salary is going to drop because of how many pharmacists the schools are churning out now. So def look into all that too. It's a TON of math and science courses, and it's pretty intense.
The one lawyer two nasa one doesnt even add up in the first place, 7 jobs mentioned to 6 people :p so even if they all did eceptional for a ***** and all had one job the white guy still has two. ******* raceis
Sauce on the last one. They didn't pull the race card in the report, but I honestly think Chinese people, at least the ones who stay in China, are pretty ******* racist.
Meh. The people I know in Canada are pretty tolerant/don't honestly believe they're better than me like the Han Chinese people often do to everyone else. I'm thinking the truly racist people wouldn't settle to move to Canada and be around all these "lowly" white people.
can someone tell me what the **** is going on in the last pic?
or better yet why are the yellows beating the **** out of the blacks? and why is that one black just clapping
