This happens when:
1) You are someone's backup and you don't know it. They "confess" because they hope you have crush on them, and will drop you current gf to keep being their backup.
2) Someone has feelings for you, or at least want to **** you, and they remind themselves about it as soon as you're taken, because then they suddenly realise you're off limits now.
3) Some people are shallow attetion whores and hit on you because you are in a relationship. They are so vain, they see a challenge in you, and most likely had no interest in you before, because then you seemed too easy.
