The bully doesn't deserve a defense, he deserves a broken leg to know get some ******* empathy. I don't know the legal actions this could cause, if the bully decides to bitch up and get mommy and daddy's lawyers involved. This'd be a I think an assault on the bully's case, and the blind kid clearly couldn't defend himself. Jury would most likely side with the blind kid. Rekt.

alexithymic (09/24/2015) [-] Legally the guy that got laid out(the bully) would be ****** 6 ways from Sunday. You're legally allowed to help defend someone else the same as if you defended yourself. This applies in the U.S. I cannon say about other countries. Similarly it looks like it might've been in school so the smaller guy getting beat up on initially probably would've been expelled for being in a fight because **** we have some stupid people here.

I should add that using force that has an effect significantly exceeding the aggressors actions is justifiable in some cases (I'd give a 100% chance that it wouldn't apply to ALL but definitely some). Example being 2 drunks came into our dojo looking to fight. Sensei suggests they hold pads informing them they will have no desire to fight after a short demonstration. They knocked the pads away and swung a wide right haymaker. They subsequently had their ocular cavity shattered, their friend ran and called the police. After explaining the situation we were told to have a good day as the drunks were arrested.
Sure he COULD HAVE subdued them but he only hit them 3 times. I'm not so sure how well that would've gone down elsewhere and I understand that which is why I'm sure to make the distinction between here and elsewhere
