I don't think I articulated my point very well originally. This post is mainly poking fun at the "scientifically literate" types of people that you see in your average comment section. The people that think that following Nye of Twitter gives them the inside scoop of all things science and that they're now somehow smarter than your average person; nobody in particular. Implying that /bill Nye is any less than perfect usually results in a **** storm...but **** it.
I've seen the instances of Bill Nye denying race and arguing abortion on FJ plenty times before so I originally just assumed that people would remember what I'm talking about and the conversations n the comment section.

to ignore that and ride on the "don' t tell woman a
