you NEVER EVER EVER EVER use apostrophes to denote pluralization. You only use them for contraction or to show posession:
The bow-tie belonging to Bill Nye = Bill Nye's bow tie.
Bill Nye is the one who owns the bow-tie = Bill Nye's the one who owns the bow-tie.
