If I remember correctly, these bugs excrete a toxin poison, venom, whichever it is with their bite that acts like a local anesthetic like Novacaine does.

poisonous vs venomous. everyone's proud that you know the distinction and you want to help others know the distinction too.

yeah it's simple knowledge but not knowing the difference between injection and adsorption methods of their toxin isn't as important as just knowing that they're harmful.

thanks for answering his question though. i'm only saying it because you got copious amounts of thumbs for your answer but he got minimal amounts for his.

While it can pierce the skin.
It did not in the video.
That substance is chewed up grass or other such things and is vomited up to get rid of predators. It has a smell.
If it were to pierce the skin you can get an infection.
