When Lilo asks for a pet lobster. Nani does not tell her that lobsters are

Some teenage girl on tumblr could post paragraphs of why Hitler was actually a really good guy, and everyone would ******* agree.

Yeah, character build.
It's usually what people do when making cartoons.

I'm going out on a limb here. The OP for this content, the identity of whom I realized after this content, is infamous for deleting comments with opposing opinions www.funnyjunk.com/What/funny-pictures/5065019/ . However, you were called out on this, and I'm guessing you stopped deleting and just started replying as an Anon.
If my assumptions are correct, and this anon is OP, then you should know that I actually enjoyed this content and thumbed it at first.

thank you. when I'm working on novels I usually flesh my characters out much better than just like this. it irks me that people get so hung up on **** like this. a character's a character

What you're saying is that people shouldn't feel for the characters? They shouldn't get attached to one? People like this trait of this character, and that's what writers are supposed to do. I'm glad you informed that this character isn't as good as characters in your book and I shouldn't like her because of it. I'll be sure to come to you next I want to feel for a character, just to make sure you approve of how "fleshed out" the character is.

Get over yourself. If everybody just thought "it's just a character, not a real person" stories, as a whole business, would die. Be it books, movies, or video games.

that wasn't what I'm saying at all. Yes, you can love the character and admire it's traits, but it's just like when tumblr freaks out for actors doing basic improv.

So? Let them. If it makes them happy, and it's not hurting anyone, just let it go. I'm sorry you feel annoyed by people enjoying things.

To me it sounds like you are annoyed by people who get excited over simple things, like improv or basic character traits. Or maybe I don't see what you're getting at.

tumblr has this habbit of boosting up the image of whatever character x person likes by focusing on common traits. "OMG Heath Lether improved!" Not that Heath Ledger wasn't a good actor - I loved him as the joker - but it's fairly common to improv when it comes to acting. it's part of the job, you know?

When it comes to creating a character - a believable character - they've got to have a stand alone personality and quirks, beliefs, realistic relationships, etc. This is standard issue in blockbuster movies. A story is driven by the characters, and if something is unbelievable about them as individuals, it tends to fall flat. Anime, Cartoons, Live action shows, books, comics, etc. all follow this one goal.
is it sweet that the character cared about her sisters thoughts and ideologies? yes. is it rare? No.

I see what your saying. I get it. You probably feel annoyed, as a writer, that people do this about characters when you put so much more thought into your characters. Or something along those lines. Or not and I'm just a dumb ass, which entirely possible, and pretty likely.

But I'm just asking if you be a bit less of a party pooper in the future. Pretty please?

I commented on another guy's comment saying nearly the same thing. I wasn't a party pooper, I just joined a different party.

you're right as to what I was getting at, though I'm not just specifying my own character.

This is supposed to be a cute "Look at Nanni. Loving sister, never makes Lilo feel wrong about anything. She lets her express herself!"

That **** creates ******* psycopaths. Seriously, both Stalin and Hitlers mothers idolised them and convinced them they were right all the time. Hitler kiled over 12 million, Stalin about 23 million.

Lilo is also voiced by the girl from the ring. Let that sink in for a moment.

Yeah, she does spend the entire film trying to make sure Lilo doesn't feel her ideas are wrong.
Too bad that's a ******* awful idea in the real world.
