Pretty much what happened to me.
In middle school, my older friend always invited me out to go with them.
They would use a friend's parent's car (since apparently they never used it at night) and go driving out somewhere without a licence. I guess they thought it was cool.
I always denied because I was too addicted to maplestory at the time.
Then one day they got caught by the police. Turns out the reason the parents never used the car at night was because the lights were busted.
Her driving must have been fine though.

Yep. I tried to start playing it regularly again but that didn't work out. I got a Dual Blade up to level 60ish then started messing around with other jobs. I eventually stopped playing, never getting another job higher than level 20. The main problem for me is that the social aspect of the game kind of disappeared. Not many people play the game anymore, at least not in the timezone I was playing in. I loved seeing people everywhere I went, and it was awesome having someone to talk to while grinding.

The social aspect of MS is soooooo ******* dead hahaha! That's half of the reason I don't play it anymore. Remember the days where you could walk through Henesys and you'd get bombarded with friend requests and trade invites? When people didn't tell you to change channel so they can grind alone?

Those were the good days, man. Remember that area you'd go to when you took the portal at the very left of Henesys and you'd end up in these training grounds of some sort, where there were slimes and pigs on top of these haystacks, and everyone would gather there to train and talk. That was the ****, man. Just talking about it makes me feel like playing Maplestory.

What was your favourite area?

Omg I've only just remembered that, that was so much fun! Just talking to everyone when doing anything in general was so much fun. I've met a few people on it recently which was quite fun, although I've been meaning to update it, might get around to it now! My favourite area? Probably the old middle part of Kerning City where people could jump onto the sewer pipes and there'd be tons of people there at a time just chatting away. What about you?
