What kind of dog doesn't need much attention?
3 walk a day and some playtime for example

English Bull dog Would be my #1 suggestion for you.
Shiba Inu, Shih Tzu and pugs are all good at entertaining themselves. Shibas and Shih Tzus require grooming though. Most small hounds would be good for you as well.

A lot of pound pits are really mellow and laid back and would fit the bill for less $.
Dont go for the German Shepherd, Lab or Husky, unless you plan on doing training, especially for the shepherd!

Are you looking for any specific traits? There are obviously other breeds, and I cant list them all, as well as I dont want to really say something super rare, and send you on a chase for a Korean Lizardhound.

listverse.com/2007/12/21/top-10-dogs-for-lazy-owners/ Here's a list . But all dogs require a lot of attention, and there is no breed that needs it less than others. If you do not spend the proper amount of time with a dog it can lead to many issues including destructive and aggressive behavior. Dogs who are bored or lonely will chew up household items, piss and **** every where, will be very unhappy, and could even turn against you.

In my experience smaller dogs are always more high maintenance.
I suggest a medium-large dog such as a german shepherd, labrador, husky, etc.
