hearthofsin (12/13/2015) [-] i'm so tired of the hate apple bandwagon.. seriously it's not even funny at this point ''blah blah cost to much blah blah you can build your own DESKTOP that is way better than this apple LAPTOP'' and ffs that makes no sense to compare to!? yes apple computers are overpriced. but no the iphone isn't overpriced anymore but because of iphone the price on samsung and HTC phones have gone up.
and say what you want yes billgates may have made the first tablet and what ever i don't even know but it's a FACT that apple had the marketing to bring smartphones as we know them today to the market back in 2008! and the ipad was also the reason tablets even got considered useable even tho i still think tablets are kinda stupid..
what comes to these laptops why does it matter? students using macbooks are mostly using it because they can afford it and they don't need the power some other people require. what they want is great build quality (no denying that unibody aluminum chassis), a good keyboard and great battery life.. which they have. and buying a windows machine with the same specifications.. no not ******* overclocked i7's and gpu's.. but build quality and battery life wont save you much compared to a macbook anyway.. and back when i used a macbook i was surprised with how good the trackpad was.. i thought it was completely pointless until i actually used it.. anyway not gonna try to convince anybody to buy an apple computer or phone or tablet but ffs if you hate apple atleast have a good reason to!?
i right now use two windows computers.. my desktop and my HP laptop. No i don't use an apple computer and even if i could afford it i wouldn't buy it but that gives me no reason to hate on it...

With the new Macbook's price I can buy a cheaper PC that is
-highly customizable
-has access to a wider array of software, as well as support from various developers
-this includes apps to help me work AND play games comfortablly
-can be used with other hardware instead of apple exclusives
