the wiki says purple chick was in a three part story arc in the detective comics and was a robin, and a Batgirl then disobeyed Batman and lost the title. Personally she sounds like a botched reboot of huntress in the no mans land story arc.

theblackhorntail (12/14/2015) [-] tbh Superman just stood there and took the beating because he was feeling guilty for losing his temper and breaking Batman's back. If Superman actually tried to fight back, Alfred couldn't have beaten him so easily. I feel like Superman wouldn't have become the villain in Injustice if it wasn't for Wonder Woman's manipulation and if Batman had actually tried talking to him and helping him deal with his loss.

hirollin (12/14/2015) [-] Her storyline was pretty important though, even if she was short lived. Nice to have a robin that wasn't drawn as carbon copies of each other. Still, she was a robin and should be up there. I don't think peoples dislike for her even comes close to Todd's though.

The only real good story that I remember coming out of it was the Court of Owls stuff in the beginning of Batman's run. I did kinda like the Batman and Robin stuff though. Yeah Damien's a ******** and they just made a tinier, whinier, Batman. But I like the kid.
They really stretched, and continue to do so, Batman way too thin. One or two books? Fine, we can handle that. But he had like 4 or 5 books in the beginning of the New 52 for just him. Then they had like a dozen other books relating to the Bat-family. Then they had Batman cameo in almost every single series that was going on. Hell, I still think it's like that.
It was impossible to make heads or tales of when anything was happening and the stupid idea of a 'reboot but not really' makes it even more confusing. It was a complete mess then and I can't even be bothered to wrap my head around the confusion now. Screw New 52. And screw DC for sucking too much Bat cock and not realizing just how much they've ****** up.
