Yeah risking further injury is very manly. Really if you are injured just go off and get treated, staying on to prove how manly you are can further aggravate the injury. If you dive to fake an injury then you should be ashamed but don't risk your life to be cool.

you dont just get off the ice in hockey, you got to wait for your team to be on the offensive,have a line change, or something that doesnt leave your team to play 4v5 on the ice.That split second could be the only goal scored in the game and you let it happen because you couldnt wait 30 seconds. also i dont think having a broken leg is risking your life, hockey players are known for being tough *******, they aint playing football/soccer here

Breaking your leg can easily be lethal with aggravation. It's entirely possible that marrow will work its way into the bloodstream and stop your heart, or for a broken piece of bone to slice the femoral artery. This is clearly a worst case scenario, but the point is that it's not worth it.
