Despite what you may see on the news/hear, Christians generally support evolution as a fact as well as the Origin Of Species. God is just what caused it.

Also, fun fact, in the original Bible, there's no Hebrew word for "day". It actually translates to "period of time". So, God made X in Y period of time. It could be days, or it could be millions of years as modern science states

The bible is one of those books where if I wanted to argue that cthulu rose from the ocean and created mankind, there will be vague passages to support my claim. Same with basically all of the Abrahamic religions. It is a clever strategy that cant be proven, but ore importantly cannot be disproven

If it cant be proven or disproven, why do so many find the need to argue about it? Just accept the fact that others think differently, and do what you want. People get so hostile over the dumbest ****

The whole point of a debate is to educate and hopefully find a greater truth. Test your beliefs against another, and find what works and what doesn't. Debate is healthy as long as it isn't mudslinging. However, when people get offended when others criticize their religion, we get places like Iran where you get killed for speaking against Islam.

because people have "friendly" scientific debates where conclusions are also rarely reached, for some reason everybody hates on religion
