He really IS a douchebag if he's failing students for personal reasons.

He's not failing them for personal reasons
Miller failed because of his bad academic practices and decided to blame the teacher for his own failures. The teacher wouldn't take any of that (and from the like count, it seems like he's a well known teacher that gets along with everyone that gives him respect in return for his)

I'm for the teacher all the way in this case

These are two different fails we're mixing up.

American 'fail' -> A teacher purposely gives you a low mark / grade / F.

Other 'fail' -> You don't know how to do the ******* test and you fail it.

I have never heard of the former.

I like how everyone just assumes that he was implying he would fail the student on purpose for his post and not what he was actually implying, which is that he isn't smart and will fail the midterm and finals because he doesn't know the material.

Hence, "thinks he is smart" => *fails the midterm/finals because he doesn't know material* => clearly isn't smart.

I'm sure the professor wasn't joking and trying to make the kid worried or anything...
User avatar #73 - fukkentyranitar (11/19/2013) [+] (1 reply)
MFW fj thinks the professor failed the kid because of the post instead of vice versa.

Are teachers allowed to inform others if a student failed a test? sure maybe certain members of the school board , but when I was in high school they would do their best to hand back our tests without showing others what they were.
Or maybe that was just me because I did so bad
User avatar #21 - fyaq (11/19/2013) [+] (1 reply)
And he gets sued for revealing how his students do on exams, publicly embarassing them, and using social media connected to his students.

Not the smartest guy.
