I felt Kylo was supposed to be like that, whereas Anakin Skywalker seemed like they were trying to make him seem cool. Kylo was a way stronger character than Anakin in my eyes. Not better than Vader, but better than prequel Anakin.

I think it was, because Han was trying to get the door open to get on the Falcon, while Chewie was covering him with a bowcaster, then Chewie got hit and Han finished the guys of with Chewie's bowcaster.

My heart rate was like a ******* race car the whole scene leading up to Han's death.

I saw it again yesterday, and while it obviously wasn't quite as good as seeing it Thursday when everyone was brimming with excitement, it's still a damn fine movie. Definitely worth seeing again. Especially that scene in which the X-wings come in just over the water to help the resistance at Maz Kanata's place.

That scene was ******* epic.
I really liked the fight with the Stormtrooper of sick spins too.

That was really cool, too. It did a great job of showing that these stormtroopers aren't pushovers. Also, the scene where the X-wings attack Starkiller base's thermal oscillator, especially that POV shot from inside the cockpit as the missiles come in. In case you can't tell, I really like air-to-air combat in that movie. **** was beautiful.

Yeah, the air battles are ******* great, hope to see more of that in 8 and 9.

Rogue One coming out next year probably will have a lot of that actually, since it's centered around pilot dudes.

Abrams sucks at creating new stories

He's said that he wanted to give people who saw the movie the same feeling he got when he watched the movie in theaters as a kid. I think his point in the first movie is to ensure that they got that experience, but the introduction of Luke at the very end probably means that after this first one things are going to branch off into something new. I mean, the New Order has had its leadership taken out, and all the resources they wasted on an enormous super weapon have been wasted, along with practically their entire military. They're not the galactic empire, they can't just magic up another planet weapon to use.

Probably the rest of the series will focus on some magical new threat that Luke discovered while wondering around the galaxy, and the implications of it. If Disney decides to unthrow-away the EU, the Yuuzhan Vong could be the focus.

they hit all those civies without a problem. and the people at maz's place that wasn't the main characters and they probably wouldn't have won if it wasn't for that resistance droid that alerted the resistance of bb-8's position. also that riot gear trooper kicked finn's ass. also Finn killed a few people. so...I'd say these stormtroopers are better than the OT stormtroopers.
