It's obvious the writer had written himself in a corner at this point, since there's no way to let him consistently block all blaster shots without using the force and training without also undermining the worth of the jedi.

guardianatreyu ONLINE (12/23/2015) [-] Well Rey's pretty bland and Finn's just the funny black guy. Poe should really have been more of the focus than either of them. Least he was a badass pilot. The cool factor is important to get people to like the character.
