I thought it was hysterical. One guy doesn't even notice until the other guy puts his hand out, than they just 180 and get the **** out of there. Their fw.
So far there are 200 chapters, each about 18 pages long. Also warning, the pacing can be a bit slower in the manga, but the upside is no censorship, so you get to see everything!
The above image is from the manga at the point where she gets blackmail on him I think? But she doesn't actually say that "We're gonna do a lot of kinky **** " it's more like her getting excited because she's blackmailing his ass.
The pic is from the Prison School manga. She doesn't actually say that though, instead she says something about getting extremely excited about the idea of blackmailing the MC and how he needs to obey...I think
Both. It's just showing two Japanese spoken versions. Is there a dubbed one? I have a hard time playing with my dangler when I have to read **** and listen to ************ male Jap voices tbqh.
Pretty much. I'll call someone a fag online if they aren't gay, and I'll call undertale autistic because it is just a decent rpg with "dank memes" and a fanbase as retarded as FNAF.
Actually, not really. It's talked about quite a bit, but no where near the level of undertale. I also never mentioned Fallout, so I don't know why you did.
Fallout content makes it to the top because it is usually funny and creative, but trust me, Undertale content vastly outweighs Fallout content. Once you get to the 30-50 thumb range of content, it is all Undertale. There is less on the front page because people are starting to realize that the posts are lazy and unfunny. "HUHUHUH the skeleton eats spaghetti!"
The difference being the demographic. As much as I loved Undertale, its fans tend to be a little more like the Tumblr special snowflakes who ship everything into a gay romance. Can get pretty annoying.
>Most
so you admit there is decent fanart of it ;p
Again, up to you, I'm not telling you to like it, just wanted honesty, which I got ;p That's all there is.
Have this image of an Ice Fairy and a Kut-Ku
I'm sure some if it is nice, and some of it is funny, but I saw a guy on a post about blocking undertale content mention that he is sick of seeing "that grinning skeleton", and I believe you posted nothing but a picture of that skeleton. C'mon, that's brony level BS, and when a fandom gets there, it's bad.
I've had my doubts about this movie for a long while now, but this sealed the deal. I'm not wasting my money to see Darth Angst (Original Character DO NOT STEAL) throw a tantrum for two hours. Even Hayden Constipationsen was more interesting than this turd.
That's because he IS a spoiled kid. That's the character. He is a true sith, apart from his race. All sith gain their power from negative emotion. Vader's was fear. Kylo's is not getting what he wants. Rage.
I actually disagree. Somewhat. You have a valid opinion and I'm not calling it unjustified. However, if we look at everything we, as fans, know about siths, we can see how there have been many in the past that have been irrational and even bratty like Kylo Ren. He is not the first and I speculate he won't be the last. Siths have always gained power from their strength of emotion. It's in the sith code for Christ's sake. The type of emotions driving Kylo are rage and whatever you call being a spoiled little **** . This makes for very erratic behavior and equally erratic power. His saber beam even speaks to it in some fashion. Unlike Vader, Kylo is a true sith. I have high hopes for how this is going to turn out. That's just my long winded opinion though.
TLDR: You're justified. I disagree. Kylo is true sith. They are doing the lore a favor here.
Ok. Valid. But if you believe that the theory that Snoke could be Darth Plagueis, then we have a sith apprentice learning directly from a sith lord. That's just speculation though.
And Rey is a Mary sue with little to no character flaws. I loved the movie, but you can't deny that there's certain things about the characters that just don't really make sense.
I'm hoping Rey is as powerful as she is because Luke is doing some Jedi force **** . I mean, we do have a precedent for people not having to be by the object they're using the force on for it to work (Vader choking the captain while looking through the holocom comes to mind)
And she does say that she doesn't know what she did when she made the guard go away with the force
So, hopefully next movie makes it clear how she's so ridiculously OP without any training at all.
Yeah. I can get on board with her being powerful because the Force visions she's having is kinda teaching her something without acting through it before, like some sort of memory transfer crap. It would actually make some sense.
And I mean, the fight against Kylo was good. But even after he was injured, he somehow didn't think about just Force freezing Rey like she did that first time. And considering that he can stop lazer bolts in mid-air, well. There's some disrepancies with power levels throughout the films. Not that this isn't expected. The original films had very poor action, and sparse use of the force, for other reasons. And by poor action, I mean that the swordfighting was lame. Then again, it's a product of a previous generations mindset, and things change.
Ren might not have quite thought about using the force there because his own alignment is pretty twisted right now- he can't be fully dark or light without further teachings (due to his desire for the dark side but natural tendency for the light), so the force might not have been calling him.
Or Abrams just decided that saber battles look cooler than Ren using the force.
Movies can never really be completely consistent, because of running time limitations. In a book format it probably would've been better explained.
However, I think there's something about the Force, and how you only really use o your full potential if you follow your alignment to it.
Anakin was never really amazing, but as Vader, after more training he became very powerful. Yoda was very powerful, and Luke had a good grasp over it when facing Vader, but had not attained control over his emotions, which are key to mastering the light side.
I might be talking out of my ass, but for Kylo to become properly powerful, he's either gotta accept the light or be driven so far into the dark that there's no way out, which Vader proved to be very difficult, as he turned at the last before he died.
Rey, though. Goddamn. I want more development of these characters.
It's quite humorous. While the villain is not intimidating and is more a kid trying to fill in shoes, it's quite odd seeing Benedict Cumforbitch as an angsty teenager to the extreme.I honestly want to see Snooke kill the ****** in the end.
Honestly, The best parts are the Han Solo moments. Harrison Ford is literally the reason your going in, The other movies will be **** without him.
His contract was only for one more film. interviews confirm he won't be in the the next two. He basically said he doesn't want to steal the spotlight from the new actors .
Some stuff in the movie was already out because of people that got to go to an early screening. The night before it came out there was a webm of someones death in the movie being spread on the internet. People go to early screenings just to film stuff and be the first to post it online
The Chipmunks, Alvin, Simon, and Theodore are taking a break from their music career while their long time father figure, is preparing to head to Miami in order to advance the careers of some of his other clients. Right before leaving for the trip, Dave introduces the chipmunks to Samantha, his new girlfriend, and to Miles, Samantha’s angsty, bullying teenage son, whose father abandoned him at an early age. Miles plants it into the Chipmunks’ minds that, if Dave marries Samantha, he will send the Chipmunks away. The Chipmunks believe that Dave is planning to propose to Samantha in Miami, and so they set off on a wacky adventure in order to prevent the engagement. In the end, Dave reconciles with the boys and tells them he would never abandon them. He then adopts them, but he and Samantha do not get engaged.
"Lord Ren, sorry for not informing you sooner but Nancy from HR needed the toture room for her 3 o'clock so we moved the prisoner to the waiting room down the ha--..."
*crashing, lightsaber sounds, autistic yelling*
"... yyyya know what steve, let's just..."
" yep, yeah let's just go..."
It's obvious the writer had written himself in a corner at this point, since there's no way to let him consistently block all blaster shots without using the force and training without also undermining the worth of the jedi.
Well Rey's pretty bland and Finn's just the funny black guy. Poe should really have been more of the focus than either of them. Least he was a badass pilot. The cool factor is important to get people to like the character.
That's not far from the truth he's even whinier than Hayden Christiansen's protrayal of Anakin Skywalker in the prequels, and that's saying something, not to mention he LOST a lightsaber duel to somebody with literally no training whatsoever
I thought he was really well cast, and that was the whole point - he's an angry kid playing at jedi. Yeah, he's scary to a trooper because even a padawan is tough to a normal dude, but he's not trained properly - and he knows it.
Sure, but I expected him at least to be a little more imposing for a "dark lord". His attitude, rank, and attire create some expectations (before he took his mask off).
But he's not the main bad guy. The BBEG is Snoke, while Ren is just his apprentice, and a ****** one at that. It's entirely apparent that Snoke is the antagonist, given that in the Original trilogy Sidius isn't even introduced until the final movie, and is only barely mentioned before that. In the new new trilogy, Snoke is introduced practically at the very beginning, and even though he is never physically seen in-person, it can be assumed that the reason everyone is afraid of pissing him off is because he can kill them from wherever he is hiding.
I kinda liked the contrast really. When his helmet is on, he acts like a cold, merciless sith lord. When it's off, he's just a petulant kid way over his head.
Stop being so butt hurt two Storm Troopers walking down a hall isn't a spoiler. Trust me, there are WAY worse things to spoil. Also I feel everyone who hasn't seen the film yet has pretty much had everything spoiled for them anyway.
Saw it last night, but was luckily able to avoid spoilers until today. Granted, it meant spending more time playing Fallout 4 and less time on FunnyJunk or online in general, but that's a good trade off.
I'm looking forward to having time to beat the game now, though.
I can see where you're coming from with the slipery slope, especially when the conversation gets onto [insert film ruining plot point here] Bruce Willis was dead all along
If Abrams is directing it again, we can expect it to be the same thing that he's already done. Because, you know, a death star that's just bigger is such a creative choice for the villain's big weapon
He's said that he wanted to give people who saw the movie the same feeling he got when he watched the movie in theaters as a kid. I think his point in the first movie is to ensure that they got that experience, but the introduction of Luke at the very end probably means that after this first one things are going to branch off into something new. I mean, the New Order has had its leadership taken out, and all the resources they wasted on an enormous super weapon have been wasted, along with practically their entire military. They're not the galactic empire, they can't just magic up another planet weapon to use.
Probably the rest of the series will focus on some magical new threat that Luke discovered while wondering around the galaxy, and the implications of it. If Disney decides to unthrow-away the EU, the Yuuzhan Vong could be the focus.
I think it was, because Han was trying to get the door open to get on the Falcon, while Chewie was covering him with a bowcaster, then Chewie got hit and Han finished the guys of with Chewie's bowcaster.
I saw it again yesterday, and while it obviously wasn't quite as good as seeing it Thursday when everyone was brimming with excitement, it's still a damn fine movie. Definitely worth seeing again. Especially that scene in which the X-wings come in just over the water to help the resistance at Maz Kanata's place.
That was really cool, too. It did a great job of showing that these stormtroopers aren't pushovers. Also, the scene where the X-wings attack Starkiller base's thermal oscillator, especially that POV shot from inside the cockpit as the missiles come in. In case you can't tell, I really like air-to-air combat in that movie. **** was beautiful.
Difference being, we're supposed to feel empathy for Anakin. With Kylo, the movie practically invites us to be like "screw that guy" which I thought was nice for a change.
I felt Kylo was supposed to be like that, whereas Anakin Skywalker seemed like they were trying to make him seem cool. Kylo was a way stronger character than Anakin in my eyes. Not better than Vader, but better than prequel Anakin.
they hit all those civies without a problem. and the people at maz's place that wasn't the main characters and they probably wouldn't have won if it wasn't for that resistance droid that alerted the resistance of bb-8's position. also that riot gear trooper kicked finn's ass. also Finn killed a few people. so...I'd say these stormtroopers are better than the OT stormtroopers.
Well, OT Storm troopers were brilliant in the beginning of IV and V, but by the mid/end of those two movies, they were ordered to chase the main characters so they will lead to the hidden Rebel base, and capture them in space, IV and V respectively. But in VI, they just sucked ass, so I'd kinda agree with you.
Actual spoilers: Kylo Ren may have slaughtered his jedi-in-training peers, but in no way does that mean he's a master. Luke was ashamed and went into exile (which is I guess what Jedi do) which made Ren the toughest fish in the puddle in terms of jedi-ness. Not to mention that was years ago and had no real practice since. Who around him can fight him with a lightsaber? Storm troopers? The old **** hologram man?
Rey, who has shown competence in fighting (we don't know her upbringing, we don't really know much about her past) shows up with a lightsaber against a wounded, out of practice, emotionally torn, padawon-tier Kylo Ren and eventually gets the upper hand and beats him. Sounds pretty reasonable to me.
R2-D2 booting up seemingly randomly at the end was convenient, but nobody seems to be putting the pieces of the puzzle together. Luke left, R2 basically shuts down with most of the map of where Luke is installed in it. There is one more piece of the galaxy map. If the New Order found the piece BB-8 was carrying, and found R2's piece, Luke would be no more. R2 only rebooted (you know what I mean) after the Starkiller Base was destroyed so that Luke and the future of the galaxy wouldn't be destroyed.
I must say, I enjoyed watching this 'sith' Ren. It was nice to see somebody actually struggle with something like the pull between light and dark, and i'm not going to lie the actor Adam Driver was a perfect cast for that role. I really hope that he will be in the next two.
I come right now from watching it in the theater, and **** I'm pumped and excited. Is someone interested in having a spoiler-heavy conversation always properly hidden, of course in which we can share our impressions and thoughts about it? I'm craving some nerd-to-nerd action right now
I tried to keep the hype down as much as possible so my expectations weren't too high and thanks to that I could enjoy the movie for what it is. Seriously when I heard the familiar theme song I felt such happiness I haven't felt for a decade at least.
I didn't really mind that it was similiar to NH, FA featured enough new things to be more than a simple nostalgia fest.
With that said there were a few parts I didnt like. For example Finn was trained to be a stormtrooper from early childhood and yet he deserted after his very first battle and didn't act like a brainwashed drone like the other soldiers.
The other thing that bugged me was the superweapon, how was it supposed to work after it drained the Suns power?
Yeah, right? He turns too easily, man, there should be more of a conflict going on, that man has literally no ******* identity and all of a sudden he's all " **** this Imma rebel the **** out of this ship", tho I believe given more conflict it would maybe draw too much attention from the overall story and stripped him from his quirkiness, which I ******* crave
One thing I didn't like at all is the introduction of that ******* oh-so-evil over the top grim Emperor 2.0, it wasn't necessary at all, the story would have been more interesting if focused more on the actual fascist ideologies of the Order as a whole
In that sense I didn't like all the superweapon stuff at all. Come on, we have already seen that **** , it's the Death Star all over again, with the same purpose, the same threat and the same downfall, they even go comparing the two "No, but look, this one is BIGGER", give me a ******* break
And that's the biggest issue I find, it's not a fanfest, but it burrows too heavily on the plot of the original trilogy, tho I believe it's a way to interest the new generations in the old material and lay the way to future sequels
Oh, man, I'm just glad old school Star Wars is back again, I think I'm gonna cry
Yeah I guess that makes sense, but still it seems to be horribly inefficient I mean it would consume a whole sun with a shot or two also destroying whole star systems are a bit of an overkill
Kylo Ren is extremely badly written
Rey is extremely badly written
Finn is extremely badly written
Poe is A-OK, could be the lovechild of Han Solo & Wedge Antilles
Han's death should have had a bigger impact Rey is a Mary Sue Finn and Poe were pretty cool Ren is a whiney dousche done right General Hux's speech tho Them practical effects 7/10, maybe 8/10 movie
Han's character has disappointed me greatly, I don't know what it was, but I didn't recognize the badass smug smuggler from the original trilogy in this film. Harrison Ford really feels old and tired on screen. Maybe it's because thEY ******* KILL HIM OH MY GOD HOW COULD THEY. Don't get me wrong, I ******* loved the scene and the buildup and how it was filmed, but it should have been in the next film or something, mate, I'm totally with you in that sense, they blew one of the potential greatests twists of the franchise I loved Rey, I don't know what's a Mary Sue, but I just loved her character and how she connects temathically with Luke in the original trilogy, and also how she shares traits with Han, it's... I don't know, I liked her, and the actress gives an interesting performance About all of them, I find Ren to be the most interesting, not because he's the embodiment of evil, or badass or powerfull like Vader was, but for the exact opossite reasons, you said it, it's a ******* whiney douche, and that's what I love of him, how anticlimactic it is when he takes off the helmet and turns out to be just a ******* edgy boy trying to follow his grandpa's steps to glory and badassery. ******* loved what they did there with his character General Hux in general. **** , I expect to see more of him in the future, he's the perfect heir for Grand Moff Tarkin's legacy I may be biased right now because I'm so hyped, even tho I was completely cynical and skeptical, but I ******* loved it, man. As a standalone film it isn't utter greatness, but considering it's potential for sequels... Oh man
I'm fine with his portrayal and I actually liked how they portrayed him as more seasoned and world weary, but with the younger Han still shining through. But he's an iconic character. There should have been more of a reaction. Leia had one of the most classic movie romances in movie history with him, yet she doesn't do anything but hug Rey. Chewie I felt was the only one to really treat it like the big deal it's supposed to be. And as someone who followed the EU, it bugs me that Chewie outlives Han. It feels weird Rey is basically Little Miss Perfect. She excels at everything we see her do for little to no reason. Everything goes her way far too easily for her first appearance ever
I totally see your point, but I like her character nontheless, she's far from being a plain one. I think she may come up as a bit of a forced protagonist because they were trying to play the surprise with her being such a main thing
**** , I even got caught off guard, I really thought she was just going to be a secondary character, I mean, the one with Luke's lightsaber in the posters is Fin after all. I kinda believe it was all an elaborate ruse
And I love that tandem thing they have going on, it works well, I'm yet not even sure who's supposed to be the protagonist here, nor if there's just one in the first place. It creates an interesting dynamic and it just feels refreshing
I just hope they further develop her character in the upcoming movies so she starts to feel more struggling, and thus, deserving of her spotlight in the plot
there is no logic why the "light side" is tempting Ren. dark side is the side that tempts, not the other way around. yeah, you can switch from dark side to light like Ani did, but it's not easy, since the sith way is absolute.
anyway, not such a big problem but...
dark side is supposed to be the "quick way to master the force" and the jedi way is supposed to be slow and hard and filled with discipline. but lol nope that bitch is instantly mind controlling people and being all good with light sabers. what the **** did kylo do all that time?! jack off in his room being angsty teenager and touching his grandfathers helmet?! he should have beaten that little bitch.
and let's not talk about the bitch. she is literally so boring that I forgot her name, and I don't even have any interest to check. it was some rey or something.
oh and WHY THE **** did they destroy the whole expanded universe FOR THIS!? so far it has been somewhat true-ish to the books, some changes but anyways... they could have just denied everything after the movies as non-canon in that case, not the WHOLE ******* 20 YEARS OF WORLD BUILDING FROM PAST TO PRESENT AND INTO THE FUTURE.
and as a 3D modeler I absolutely hated the orange yoda. this is some prequel level of 3D! it's ******************************** and you're making a STAR WARS movie for DISNEY. don't tell me you don't have the budget or the time to give those animators and modelers. My friends thought that it looked alright tho, so it just might be me and my keen nitpicky eye for these kind of things.
I was also somewhat disappointed in the soundtrack. I expected to hear certain music more or at all.
also, where the **** did the stupid brotherhood first order come from? in the remnants of the empire? yeah cool cool, but a little bit more detail would be nice. maybe they'll explain that later on. I sure hope so. because they are apparently MAJOR player with loads of power. how? anyways, most that annoyed me is that they build another deathstar that has some very retarded weakness. are they like stupid? and about that deathstar, it swallows suns and shoots planets, okay cool, but why the hell is the second time they use it somehow "slower" and thus allows the heroes to save themselves?
also wtf Snooki (Snoke)?! Who the hell is he? what's up with him? if he is so high and mighty why don't we have any mention of him? is he starkiller?
overall I liked the movie tho (even if I just bashed it), definitely better than the prequels. I'm not just some mindless droid that praises it blindly, it was good. I just want to adress the weaker parts of the movie since it's a taboo to criticize a good movie, especially a good star wars movie, but the movie in no way was perfect.
agree movie was good but I think overall the point of it was to bring us back to what Star Wars is in terms of the original trilogy while introducing us to new characters and the new threat. Kylo Ren sucks and I really hope he goes in the next movie. Just a complete non threatening bore of a bad guy. What's his name there running the operation (the other guy we see talking to Snoke) is a waaaaaay better bad guy. The whole Star Killer thing was again just a call back to the original trilogy and hopefully we'll see something other than space stations that destroy planets for the next two movies. **** the Death Star is even more threatening. It's smaller, doesn't require absorbing a star to power it's weapon and does the exact same thing. The Death Star could just sneak within range hiding behind another planet or just get up to it while it's charging and destroy that stupid thing. As far as Rey goes it's made clear that she had some training in the past and is more powerful with the force than kylo ren. Something has happened that caused her memory loss. Could be it was done to protect her from the influence of the dark side or something along those lines. Also I don't think there's any relation to the skywalker bloodline. At least i'm hoping there isn't cause that would kinda be lame. Han and Leia would know more about who she is and especially Kylo Ren when he tried getting into her mind there would have been something they both would have picked up on. The best thing about the movie is the lightsabers. They really seem volatile lol and the saber duals are more like the original trilogy, they look so much better and carry more weight instead of the dancing of the prequels. I'm guessing the first order is just the empire. The name change is probably just to reflect that this is a new part of a bigger story, could also be masking the greater threat but then again they are storm troopers and have sith (in training) so it seems like they (producers, director, writers) just wanted to make it theirs. Snoke, maybe he's palpatine, fact is we really didn't see him die and he was able to mask himself among the Jedi. He really is the biggest badass lol. Could be he got more ****** up, maybe is hiding behind a fake body and name, that or maybe he has a new body or something. Notice that crease on his forehead lol. I'm just hoping the next 2 movies are less predictable. It'll be lame if Luke dies but then again he might just hang around as a force ghost and who knows, we'll probably see Yoda, Obi Wan and even Anakin lol all coming together to chat to Rey, just as long as he doesn't fall to Kylo Ren. That does remind me though how Snoke mentions that they must complete Rens training after he sucked so hard against Rey. So we'll probably see a much more skilled Kylo Ren in the next movie. Who know's, he might even get all ****** up as part of the training and end up getting himself a Vader style suit.
What you're looking for is someone who hacked into a movie theater and stole the film. No way you're getting the movie by any other means than cam at this point.
Probably around early Jan we'll see a good one. I think the reason they put off the release for China is because most HQ leakes come from there. they have a lot of smaller theaters there that are shady
