Is he an autistic artist, or an artistic autist?

The reason he was able to memorise the skyline was because of his autism (specifically, he's a savant). That's why it's relevant. There's a documentary about him somewhere, pretty interesting.

This has got to be one of the most racist posts I've ever seen. Are you serious?

This man has taken a potentially debilitating condition and made something extraordinary with it.

You have taken something extraordinary and have demonstrated that you're an asshat.

I love it when I see what looks like a repost at first but then I find the twist.

story time!
My English class ended extremely early since only 8 of us were there on a Friday. A classmate and I happened to walk and talk about our upcoming research papers in the class. Mine was going to be comical (but finding sources would of been problematic,) so I was writing about Gay marriage. She was talking about GMOs and in particular it's relation with bees. She was mostly against the use, citing that people have to be in full (haphazard my guess) suits to deliver the chemicals. also she listed a few problems she believes it is causing; one was a rise in cases in autism.
I countered this point and stated the main reason (at least in my opinion) is because the definition of autism was expanded (it used to be only if you had below average IQ and were EXTREMELY withdrawn from society (almost no speech whatsoever)) which meant more people were defined as autistic. I revealed I was diagnosed with Aspergers (a "high functioning form of autism" it basically means it's not as severe compared to others) and I might of otherwise been labelled "the weird kid in class". she chuckled as said agreed, adding to with "the smart kid who cant tie his shoes". I went blank and looked at my shoes; I use Velcro. I showed this and the conversation ended with a bit of laughter.

so quick question. Today i was waiting for the bus to show up and this one kid next to me was talking about this guy. He then goes on to tell/brag to his friends that he is "a tiny bit autistic." I personally think he is full of **** but is that even possible. Can you be partially autistic or can you have only one and not the other. I.e: on/off, boy/girl, FJ/sexlife

the most common form of autism is "Aspergers Syndrome"

Even I have it; and while my grades are good, I'm still pretty bad at socializing.

you know what's funny? the abilities savants show are within all of us the fact that they usually lack the filtering system in their brain enables them to use these abilities.
