This kind of **** pisses me off. I don't care how much anecdotal preaching you do about how nice your pitbulls and all the pitbulls you know are because it will never change the fact that they are commonly aggressive and very dangerous when they choose to be. It's stupid to put that kind of risk in the hands of some tiny woman and pretend she'll keep them under control if they decide to go after something/someone.
The worst part is it's always the least reasonable people, the one's who are the worst at assessing risk and the least concerned with the safety of others so basically the worst kind of people to entrust with something high-risk who think it's a good idea to get animals like these. They think they can handle it not because they understand everything they need to, but for exactly the opposite reason, they understand nothing and just assume they're too awesome to **** something up.
The people who can access risk properly and might actually stand a chance of raising one of these properly know they're not worth the additional risk in the first place. A pet is a pet, not something you get to feel like you're a badass because you keep a dangerous animal.
