I'm 27, started getting a receding hairline around age 23. Of course, enlisting in the Marine Corps only accelerated the loss Either way, I shave my head, looks goo imo.
Plus, way cheaper than going to a barber. Thank you Dollar Shave Club!
As someone who has hair so nice people have offed to style and cut it for free just to work with it, complements on it ever time I go out, people come up to me randomly to ask if they can feel my hair, my biggest fear about getting older is going bald.
For anyone interested,
My hair began to thin about a year ago, so i went to my doctor and asked if there was anything that could be done about it (aside from surgery). He prescribed me tablets of APO-finasteride, about 1 mg a day. After a few months of consistent usage my hair stopped shedding and is actually starting to feel thicker and healthier.
Apo-finestride is essentially the same as a more expensive medication called Propecia.
I'm not expert in any of these areas, but I have personally tried this and it has worked for me. I still use it once a day, as the shedding would most likely return if I stopped taking it. The pills themselves are relatively inexpensive ( 1 year supply for about $60.00).
given that my father, and damn near everyone on his side of the family, including some women, are bald, i already have it short just in case i do go bald.
