>when people get mad over seeing an art piece in a different style

Damn it's almost as though people aren't allowed to draw things in a different style from the original. Who cares if it's in an anime style, that doesn't mean that is instantly "OMG KAWAII SUGOI HENTAI DESU CHAN". It's an artstyle.

All of these people below are acting like they're genuinely outraged like they're some kinds of art judge snobs. Meanwhile I'm just loving that pun and laughing.

Riddler, have you forgotten the guy who took an envelope that had the Mona Lisa on it and drew a mustache, signed it, became famous, and was the reason behind all the old timey cartoon mustache jokes?

He didn't tho. He was a scientist. He was interested in realism and anatomy. He would try to capture things as realistically in his drawings as possible.

Subject matter is not the same thing as style you ********. You can draw a dragon and still aim for a realistic look, basing the dragons design and anatomy on existing animals.

Realism is about depicting realistic scenes (subject matter).
Drawing realistically is a different thing and is not dependent on the subject matter (style).

What's wrong here?

Leonardo Da Vinci was an artist, as well as a scientist. If he was purely a 'scientist' as you said, then he wouldn't have bothered to sketch the dragon, or create masterpieces of art we still admire and study today. He created many scientific documents, interesting inventions, and most of all very good artwork. At times he was a scientist, and then at times he was an artist. That picture there looks like he was just dicking around and doodling.

Oh yes that. I didn't mean to exclude his title as an artist with that (the man did ******* everything), but rather to emphasize the fact that his love for science and invention also translates to his art, most notable in his studies. His approach is very analytic.
The content says "I'm sure da vinci also went through different styles" which is not the case because he didn't do stylization but rather aimed for anatomical correctness.

I intentionally posted an page from his sketchbooks just to showcase that when he's just sketching he stays true to life, even when drawing mythical creatures, and does not stylize his drawings. All changes in his "style" are him improving in craftsmanship, not conscious decisions to change his "style".

one of the things that helped me most?
drawing nudity, only than was i so focused and focused on detail. i do it when i don't know what to draw, and as strange as it sounds it helped me with things like drawing hands faces, and human anatomy.

1.Draw circles all day.

2.draw meaning less shapes Triangle Square Rectangle half Circles ext...

3.Try drawing a circle and trace the line quickly try and make the circle as small and round as possible.

Just keep drawing something over and over again and it will slowly take shape. Its kinda like metamorphoses but with your hand and not a butterfly.

I won't make you look up anything you don't wanna see, so I'll spoiler this for you and the sensitive eyes of the public.

Nicobay is a notorious art whore on FurAffinity and other websites of that type, his "character" so to speak is a Bayleef with a pentagram on it's forehead. If this sounds familiar, it's probably because he's paid more goddamn money than I can even fathom for OTHER people to draw porny **** with his OC instead of him doing it himself. Commissions I understand, people who pretty much only commission is another but also understandable- but no. This ****** is everywhere. He can't draw for **** on his own which explains it, but it's still appalling how many commissions this ****** has bought. Not to mention the fact that his """""""""""""oc"""""""""""" is a generic Bayleef with a ******* STAR on it's head.

And that pretty much concludes the thing.

TL;DR, gigantic art whore with a ****** character
