I dunno about that.. apple ear-buds are one of the ********* ..
1st) forget that bass tones exist.
2nd) you don't even have to put them in your ears due to all the noise leak.

Exactly. They also break quiet easily.

I immediately replaced them with Sennheisers

The old ones were **** , the recent ones are not all that bad imo, its just missing a bit of fidelity in mids and lows.

The new ones are pretty good for stock, they are waaaayyyy to trebley though, I de-boost that stuff way down in an equalizer app to even make it tolerable.

Emphasis on "Pretty good for Stock." After you equalize them they are pretty balanced and full. Other stock earphones you can't really do anything for because they suck so bad. The best stock ear-buds I've ever used were the ones that came with my creative mp3 player back in the day, but considering Creative specializes in audio engineering that's not surprising.
