Apple. Stolen from the comments.. in 2012 a 1GB flashdrive cost about $10. 1GB on a 1TB HDD may be worth about $0.10, but a Solid State Drive today with 1TB memory is about $600, or $240 for 256 Apple comparison history worthless USB

I bought a 2 TB external hard drive for like 150$ at Best buy last year... so the prices you are stating are too damn high

You probably bought an HDD. He was talking about an SSD, which are more expensive.

Correct. Solid State Drives use a newer technology that don't utilize optical memory, like HDDs do, so they are pricier. Consequently though, they are MUCH faster.
