It's because it takes a tremendous amount of effort to come off heroin.

Also, Ricky is too fat to look like he's ever done heroin.

All depends on circumstance, I doubt most people would voluntarily become hooked on a highly addictive and destructive drug. People fall into holes all the time and to claw themselves out takes an enormous amount of effort.

It is voluntary though. The percentage of people being literally forced into heroin addiction must be infinitesimal.

It's not a question of how hard it is to get addicted. Think of it as "Congratulations! We acknowledge that you went through a dark period in your life and we're proud of you for going through the immensely painful and difficult experience of becoming normal again"

oh i agree, im just saying if you look at the method of getting by that i mean the supplies the connections and the drug itself addicted in the first place and not the reasons it is quite easy. and i concede that it is a good way to escape reality for a short period of time, but there are other outlets other than drugs that a lot of addicts don't know about which is what in my opinion not that you or anyone would care gets some of them get addicted in the first place.

It's a matter of whether you think of drug addiction as a crime, or as an illness. Sometimes something bad happens in life, and we wind up doing things we never thought we would. Some people resort to heavy drinking, and become an alcoholic without noticing how reliant they've become upon it. Same thing can go for drug addicts. They want to try something once to help them feel better during a bad night, and sometimes it evolves into more. But either way, if you manage to come off a drug addiction, you should be given some sort of congratulations. Even if you don't think they deserve it; telling them that they've done a good thing will always help remind them why they quit and help them to not slip up again.

tl;dr. Coming off an addiction is very difficult. Try not fapping for even a month, it's really hard. No pun intended

My problem with that line in the pic is that it seems to imply that people who always abide by law as an example are somehow not as good as someone who is an ex-convict, which in turn implies that if you really want to be recognised as a upstanding person you first have to dive into all the bad **** and come out.

Through many years of stumbling across the adress to this old ruse I've memorized it with little to no work at all. To you, saniking, I, ignored, leave you with your comment in peace! I abandon what ever little intent you had when you acted upon low self-esteem, only which is most commonly found in people with determined syndromes such as autism where the holder of this awe-aspiring disease tends to do things that are beyond or before the norms. This I can sympatize with since I as well tend to not understand what is the favourable way to act in social situations. I wish for you to rethink your actions! Who got "rick rolled" first? Was it you when you searched for the link on YouTube? Was it you when you typed in the letters R i c k a s t l e y? Was it really you who got rick rolled with you pressed the address bar with a right mouse click, pressed copy, went to this site only to THEN GO ON TO PRESS AND HOLD CTRL WHILE REACHING TO V? Sir, and I say sir, because I wish for this site to be a less disease-ridden place on the internet... I tell you, sir, perhaps you where the one who got rick rolled first.

a lot of cristians dont agree with me but i see the bible as more of a general guide line and not a read to the T kind of literature. i am a cristian but then again there are a lot of passages in the bible that dont involve jesus or god being our direct religious muse.

tldr the bible is pretty great but dont take it so seriously

Because it's much harder to break a habit than to never get it in the first place

The Judeo-christian concept of reptentance is also heavily ingrained in our society. We are suckers for 11th hour redemptions and all that from the questionably bad guys in our entertainment (as just one example). Those who find a way to repent from their evil are viewed as better than those who were never even tempted to evil.

Not doing drugs isn't that hard if you're not pressured into it, or you have a particularly **** life.
Getting off them? ***** thats a whole other ball park, that takes a metric ass ton of will power, you need doctors and **** for that, and also need to be conscious that you need to stop doing it and actually try. And even then, you'll always have that faint itch for it, it's something that never truly goes away. If someone does heroin, gets addicted, and gets off it, **** I'd applaud that ************. Thats a stronger man than me, thats for damn sure.
