Anyone remember this Movie?

After several years of only having a faint memory of this movie I finally found it!
For those that haven't seen it, it is Nausicaa of the Valley of the Wind, the movie that lead to the birth of the animation Studio Ghibli. A real pioneer of animation, it had some of the highest quality animations ever seen in film. Additionally the cast included Patrick Stewart, Shia Lebeouf, Chris Saradon, and Alison Lohman.

its about a boy, who goes to an angelic kingdom of some sort, and he is tricked into opening a door to a dark realm, which leads to the king being taken away through the door.

Allright I just spend ages searching for a title because I remember that movie faintly as well.

Yep, the soundtracks also were amazing. Especially at the giant bug scenes.

If you watch his movies, you'll come to know, and love, all of these characters.
You'll laugh and cry and generally have the best ******* time ever, and when you feel down/ bored/ depressed you'll sometimes think "All I really want to do now is re-watch some of Miyazaki's movies", and it'll make you feel better. You'll giggle like a little girl, but you'll also cry like one (Grave of the Fireflies, anyone?).
Some of his movies, like Mononokehime, NausicaƤ, again Grave of the Fireflies and maybe Ponyo or Porco Rosso will make you think, Tonari no Totoro and Kiki's Delivery Service will make you go "aaaww" for hours, Spirited away and Howl's moving Castle will be oddly fascinating and adorable, and Whisper of the Heart will make you sad/ melancholic. and so on...

All in all, his movies are likely to give you tons of emotions. At least, this is how they are for me.

wait so if this was the start of studio ghibli, does that mean Miyazaki helped make this film?

Attack on Titan is partially responsible for studio ghibli not making anymore movies after the next.
But that's okay, because we have that Makato guy who makes Garden of Words and Summer Wars.
