Nah reference to a 'failbook' image that gets reposted pretty much every fortnight. It has a picture of the Eiffel Tower saying "Guess where I am" and someone replying "Is that the empire state building?"

Or at least something along those lines.

The modern building on the far right of the London photo is by far one of the most hideous things Ive ever seen.
It also melts cars.

also impede pedestrian traffic

User avatar #21 to #16 - xedeid ONLINE (09/13/2015) [-]
We went to Canada a couple months ago,and we went through Toronto. Holy **** , so much construction. we saw like 6 condos being constructed just on the way to wahlburgers. looks like a fairly clean city though.
#24 to #21 - anon (09/13/2015) [-]
It is pretty clean. Condos coming out my ******* ears though. Can't wait til the condo market collapses and I get a cheap ass condo right in the heart of downtown.

That problem with the image of Dubai is that those buildings are mostly a façade. It's to show tourists that Dubai is seemingly more wealthy than it truly is.
#74 to #67 - oosime ONLINE (09/13/2015) [-]
here's part of the dubai skyline when viewed from a specific angle. most of the buildings are just lined up along one road.

Most depressing city.
Pretty much every city in eastern Russia can compete for that title.

Jesus Christ, all of the Japanese cities look really depressing and cold. probably going to get red thumbed for this though, as fj circlejerks over japan most of the time.
