I can relate to that. I was known as the school clown. Kind of a step up from class clown. Everyone knew me as the funny guy. I was in a meeting with some teachers and some people from the board of ed or something and at the end of the meeting they asked me what I wanted to do for a career. I looked at them with a straight face and said "I think I'm gonna be a pornstar". They all burst out laughing and had to try to hide the laughter because one of the board members was glaring at them all.

I always made people laugh and still strive to, but I got some serious depression.

I know there are people who have worse cases of depression than I do, but I still have a relatively bad case of it. I've actually blacked out before. One time I passed out and didn't wake up until a day and a half later and recently I blacked out and woke up at a bar 5 miles away.

One of my psych classes did a study on this. Turns out mainstream porn stars have an above average level of self esteem.
