It has to be mentioned however that the age of consent is for the protection of minors from sexual abuse by adults, for example the age of consent in germany may be 14 but only for sex among minors, the age of consent for sex between a major and minor is 16

paddypancake (12/29/2015) [-] Just like everyone who has seen the complete video i know that it is a joke but there is still an argument being misused. Minimum ages like 14 or 13 normally are overridden by local laws or general laws which can for example include the age of the other partner. While a 15 year old can have sex with a 14 year old without consequences in germany a 31 year old person would face jail time. Well i don't want to get into details myself but if you want to spread information about the age of consent in areas where there is not a single certain number but rather a bunch of them with conditions normally you mention the highest number because not ******* someone who is not considered a child is alot better than ******* someone who is considered a child.

Which is why, somewhere between 16-18 the age of consent probably should be, so teenagers of the same age can **** around but won't be abused by those over it.
