Naw a few stores now take in retro systems like Sega, dream cast, original playstations go into gamestop.com and look for retro games it's actually kinda cool
Pretty cool? I guarantee you they give them ******* pennies on the dollar, then sell them for 20-30 bucks a pop. I will never support Gamestop's ******** .
Actually it's petty good I mean yeah it's a ******* business that's how all businesses are run burly for cheap sell for high it basic **** and I know most of the games I sold went in for 20 for snes and chronotrigger is worth 50 I mean they are just trying to help people by giving you guys money tword a new game with games you beat and don't need its not like we hold a gun up to your head and force you to give us your games, it's your choice you can always say no but some people find it helpful and we aren't trying to **** you guys over like I said before it's a business
Don't try to reason away their greedy ******** . They could atleast give a fair ******* price instead of a ******* massive markup AFTER they rip you off. GameStop is one of the greediest and black-souled businesses I've ever seen. Did you know they got a shipment of NEW Xenogear games, ripped them open and slapped used labels on them, then sold them for 180 bucks, cause the Old Xenogear copies were worth that much.
Dude I work at gamestop and that never happened they sell used because it cheaper for you guys honestly it bugs me sometimes that you guys will complain than go there anyway and complain to us like we actually try to help and we get people like you who are ungrateful I mean dude come on you are complaining about a billion roller company because you don't like how they run there own business that is there to help you guys pay less for games it's that simple that's like someone giving you money for some random craps you don't even take a second look at than hitching its not enough money , if anything you sound more greedy than them
Bahahahahah. You're full of **** . It damn well happened. They opened NEW copies of Xenoblade Chronicles, then claimed them used and sold them for 90. Stop trying to blow your bosses dick. Gamestop's a greedy ********* of a company that even beats EA on their level of greed.
Get your head out of your ass and stop trying to fanboy for a company that would gladly **** you over. Jesus ******* christ. USED COPIES ARE STILL MORE EXPENSIVE THAN NEW COPIES!
Well damn credit earned where credit is due but that doesn't change the fact that in the past few years they have changed I've seen prices for games skyrocket and I'm not "fanboying" for them I work there because I liked them before, also each store is diferant I mean some stores are in it for the money only and those store are annoying but most stores are there to help also jumping to insults when you only have 1 thing against them, that was store specific and gamestop has made it so if they see any activity like that in stores they shame them by basically telling everyone they are over charging. Gamesto isn't the mechahitler you want to believe it is, if you don't like it just don't shop there just pretend they aren't there it's as simple as that, **** it if you hate it so much DO something about it, yet again we don't hold a gun up to your head it's an option sell your **** online, might be a better deal but you do have to realize when gamestop does something right it's not as interesting as when it's something bad, just like all these cop story's on the news you only hear about the bad, you won't hear about the employee that drove 4 hours for a chaos gem for skylanders than drove to the customers house 3 hours the opposite direction and bought them snacks and drinks and used his own money for all of it, you only hear about the bad
Simply put, That's the EMPLOYEE's good heart. Not the company. The company doesn't give a **** . It will gladly **** over every single person that comes to a Gamestop store. You're just lucky to be in one of the EXTREMELY rare good Gamestops, where the manager hasn't been ****** by the higher ups yet.
My manger is a higher up and the management here where I am is wonderful they do work with the company and it is definently the people but the company allows us to do stuff to help the company is shown through the employees and if you only have experiance with assholes than that's the feeling you will always have about them but if you meet people who are genuinely there to help (like my store and many in the district) it can change your mind fast, don't let one small part of a company determine the entire corperation I mean the higher ups I have met where genuinely cool people
I understand you hate gamestop and that won't change probably any time soon but we aren't all in it for the money I work there because I love video games and want others to be able to enjoy them as much as they can for as cheap as possible I'm sorry if you have had bad experiances and I would recommend telling the company if you have, they love feedback and literally read every single thing sent in
There's something about playing a NES game on the original console with the feel of the controller in your hands and the fuzzy look of the TV screen that you just can't replicate.
nothing like accidentally stepping on the floor a little too hard and having the vibration jerk the snes just enough to crash and erase your ******* progress in super metroid mom quit moving around the house so much and let me get past crocomire for the love of god
Or those random ass glitches... idunno if you got them but i must have gotten warped to and stuck on the "mario sleeping" screen in smb 2 at least twice.
Also trying to beat any of the classic NES games without saving was in a word, brutal.
I finally gave nes metroid a shot a few months ago. I passed it, but it was by no means easy. It took a lot of patience even getting to norfair and I can't imagine how many tries, if any number at all, it would've taken me as a kid with little to no experience in 2D metroids.
HAHAHAHA
do you get your emulators from chinese bootleg disks?
people have made a gamecube/wii combo emulator with open potential for wii u support as well. there is already a 3ds emulator in the works and there has recently been a successful step for xbox 360 emulation too.
everything before xbox/ps3 has fully working emulators and unless you dont know what you are doing or have a $200 **** laptop they work fantastic
"rarely", saying a couple of emulators just further proves my point. For example, to this day there's no real N64 good emulator, not with an easy set up at least.
fix your plugins, i play brawl and project m. my brother played all those different dragonball z games on pcx2 too, just use google to find proper configurations.
What are you talking about? Every game I've played on PCSX2 worked flawlessly at 1080p msaa x16 with widescreen hacks at full speed, but on Dolphin I don't get that **** .
Except Tales of the abyss... that game is weird as **** on PCSX2... and so is symphonia on both...
Wait why do you need 5 gamecubes,7 N64's with 18 controllers and all of those gameboys? sure it looks nice but come on also the organization of everything looks so sexy
I treated 3 of them well. 2 of them were broken by other means. My father vomited on one, and the other one he accidentally kicked.
All were broken by normal means. My indigo one eventually broke because the top wouldnt shut, so I got a silver one, and eventually it wouldnt read disks anymore, then my black one wouldnt register disks, so I swapped my silver's top with the indigo and eventually, the motor in it broke so it wouldn't spin.
I know nintendo makes sturdy machines. That's why it was 7 years before my first one broke and that was a launch machine.
now days you can have all that on your computer. Honestly I would love to have all this, but that seems like a huge money sink if you're starting from scratch. At least roms are free.
