If you like then you can request a comp of a snake. Just post the name and I'll do a comp of the one with most thumbs (in other words, most requested).

Here's a longer comp that includes: gaboon viper, chrysopelea (flying snake), corn snake, ball python, inland taipan, as well as secret 6th one which was the most requested.

Hold up, what's going on in that small pic on the right side?

It's not a real child being eaten is it?
User avatar #50 to #32 - aralahkian (03/11/2014) [-]
It's a full grown man who was walking in the forest. According to the official police report he is presumed to have been killed by the reticulated python which the tried to eat him but it couldn't get past the shoulders. It was to help my point on our shoulders making us more difficult to swallow despite our otherwise smaller size to some of their other preys. The man was never successfully eaten as a cop had come or something and shot it. I saw a documentary of it but you can probably find it through google.
I don't know if the picture is real or a reconstruction to help the viewers to visualize it.

Fucking love snakes. It still bugs me that some people think they're slimy for whatever reason.
User avatar #62 to #61 - aralahkian (03/11/2014) [-]
From what others have told me it's the whole shiny thing about their scales the makes them seem slimy.

i was actually just watching a documentary about Titanoboa, an ancient snake that was 50 feet long. It said that the anaconda is the most similar living snake to it. I highly suggest watching the documentary, its pretty interesting
