That thing, that goes on the back part of a car, is called an spoiler.
The spoiler image was put in a "Spoiler Alert" image, just like spoiler alerts for text.
The more you know, I hope I didn't spoiled anything to you.
Also I just notices that Admin changed Triangle guy (the little orange triangle for notifications)
uh, if thumbs have grown on you anywhere besides your hands you might want to get that checked out. also if you have more than one thumb per hand, get that checked out too.
I actually met someone who had extra fingers growing on his hands. He had to have surgery, because they were serving no other function than to just get in the way.
I don't remember. I met him a few years ago at a church meeting. As far as I know, they just threw the fingers away. They were really dis formed and he couldn't use them at all, so they were kind of gross.
to thumb up a stupid comment saying that we have different thumbs, that has brought us no news or funny, and is merely asking for thumbs because the look changed? no thanks, ill keep on hitting next until something actually FUNNY makes me laugh, then ill thumb.
It's based on how it's pronounced ***** , not how it's spelled. Some faggots like to make the h silent, therefore it is correct to use an. Although, it's better to not be one of those faggots that don't pronounce the h
When you thumb up/down, you're doing more than just expressing your opinion. You're supporting that person and encouraging them to post, or telling them that you're dissatisfied with them.
On top of providing feedback, you're also helping make the site better. The more that people thumb, the harder it is for crappy posts to make it up there with better ones. There's a greater diversity, not just showing what people really like, but guaranteeing you'll see more of it.
Why do OC makers leave? Because they don't feel like their efforts are supported enough to justify staying. It's not like they're on a pay-roll, the only feedback they get are thumbs and comments, and when people only thumb on special occasions and only comment when they think they've got something hilarious that will get them tons of thumbs; it just ends up feeling like you're putting a lot of effort into entertaining people that don't appreciate it.
Having no feedback is a lot worse than having a lot of negative feedback. At least in the latter, you feel like people actually care about what you're doing. It makes it mean something.
Thumbing a FJ post is like liking a YouTube video. In the long-run, it's not just about liking/disliking the post itself, but choosing to support the poster or speak your mind about them. That little thumb goes a long way.
I'm not trying to make you or anybody else feel bad for not thumbing, I'm just saying that if FJ'ers DID utilize their thumbs more often, it could really go a long way for making this site a better place. I'm pretty sure it even increases traffic.
Well, maybe im too literal, but if you gvave me 3 alternatives when i see some content (like, dislike, neither) and it rings "neither" to me, what do you want me to do?.
Yeah, i know, but you touched the subject of "getting feedback via thumbs"...
I also know, substracting thumbs from pageviews will give you a statistic fo "meh's", but a "meh" button may gave you a "users who cared enough to thumb"... i don't know if you get my idea.
I just came back to FJ today after being absent for like 6 months and admin is no longer kim jung un, the thumbs are different, and i havent seen anyone call joshlol a faggot. whats going on
He doesn't have that prof pic anymore but he's still leader of best Korea/ worst website. Thumbs changed yesterday and everyone went ******* . Josh lol is still a faggot but we're over that
