I get kinda pissed every time I hear that little chirp sound some crosswalks have, because it's like they expect a blind person to orient themselves to navigate across a street full of cars, pedestrians, and cyclists within the 3-5 seconds that the chirping lasts for. I have seen blind people trying to get around, and I know it's really ******* hard to survive as a blind person, especially if you don't have anyone to help you.
