Bulgaria is mentioned. All bulgarians swell with pride and prepare to defend it and pretend it's not a ******** .

I'm really interested in landscapes, and especially abandoned places like this abandoned rollercoaster. Anyone want contribute? The story behind the picture is also great.

On the whole crater lake thing its actually the world’s largest island within a lake that is situated on an island located in a lake within an island. It also happens to be one of the cones of an active Volcano, so its the world’s largest volcano in a lake on a volcano . Crater Lake also happens to be the largest lake on an island in a lake on an island.
Try and wrap your head around that

You want sources? This took me literally 5 minutes.
Marble Cathedral: www.dailymail.co.uk/sciencetech/article-2021090/The-marble-cathedral-Chile-Natural-wonder-worlds-beautiful-cave-network.html
Maunsell Forts: www.atlasobscura.com/places/maunsell-army-sea-forts
Crater Lake: www.nps.gov/crla/index.htm
Zhangye Danxia: www.beijinghikers.com/explore-china/view/224/zhangye-danxia-landform-gansu-may/
Buzludzha Monument: openbuildings.com/buildings/buzludzha-monument-profile-38715

Although I think a compilation like this isn't really worth giving sources to. tiles supplies very brief information on locations I'm sure many of us have seen before. It's literally no surprise that all of them are basically accurate with the compilation.

I've favorited this in the hope that I will one day have enough money to visit these amazing places.
