China is babys first communist state.

How can you be a real communist state when you allow free enterprise?

How is that possible? ******* how?

Pic related, its China.

Sometimes when I see an image like this I wonder just how bright might one of those specks of light be. Even the dim ones.
Obviously brighter than a streetlamp, but not as bright as a searchlight, right?

I think it's more of a collective brightness, like fireflies. You see one firefly flashing a hundred feet away, you aren't sure if it's actually there or if your eyes were playing tricks on you. You see ten thousand fireflies a hundred feet away, you think, "Holy **** , fireflies! ****** A!" or something to that effect.

they're not commies. their ideology is called juche. it places military at the top of the social order and they base their economy around that

So apparently, this oppressive dictatorship government we know very little else about is communist and the country right next to it with the second largest economy in the world that has declared themselves communist and is usually regarded as communist is not communist. All the amazing knowledge we get from this website.

China allows free enterprise. By definition, it is not truly a communist system. They're more like a heavily socialist system. In North Korea, there is no free market. Everything is controlled by the public, ie the government. They're a communist system controlled by a dictatorship.

This isn't difficult stuff.

As I understand it, NK scoured any mention of communism from their constitution a long time ago.

This is the complete opposite of communism.
User avatar #48 - jewishcommunazi (05/18/2014) [-]
I can understand thinking NK is sort of socialist-oriented, but what kind of idiot would think it's communist? They explicitly reject it and even removed socialist-influenced policies from their constitution more than some western parliamentary republics, which are definitely not communist either...
User avatar #45 - allamericandude (05/17/2014) [+] (1 reply)
Alright, apparently there's some disagreement about whether NK is communist:

North Korea's ideology is called "Juche". It is a sort of evolution from Communism/Marxism. They stopped using those terms because they believe communism and Marxism had too many Western influences (which is almost ironic). They do call themselves "socialist". But don't get them wrong: Private enterprise is still outlawed. The government controls every aspect of the economy, including the distribution of food, just like the old USSR. They're as far from capitalism as a country can be.

And that's without even mentioning the "Dear Leader" cult of personality and the dystopian police state which controls every aspect of North Korean life.
