This would have been a way better epilogue than that bit with Harry's son on the train. I slept through reading that part.

So don't give me **** about these ******* Weasely twins.

The reason more people talk about Harry Potter than this obscure Star Wars fanfic-novel-thing is because more people read Harry Potter.

Star wars is 2 parts good lore and storytelling, 5 parts fanfiction-tier gobbledygook, and 1 part pure, unadulterated nostalgia. Almost everything post 6th movie (in terms of time in the universe) is just bleh. What they need to do is make a proper star wars movie/book series set in the years around the return of the sith from dark space. KOTOR and TOR both slightly covered that time, but that was the real time worthy of stories being told, and for some reason is almost always just glossed over.

the period between Return of the Sith and a New Hope was glossed over for a reason. George Lucas wanted it open for his own personal ideas. He didn't want to have to deal with discrepencies, so he told everyone they couldn't write in that period without his permission.

Almost happened too- there was a live action tv series set in the period in the works off and on for a year or two. but nothing happened with it.

I'm not talking about that time. Think of the time that mediocre mmo TOR covered, maybe even earlier. You're eons away from what I'm referring

My bad. Never touched TOR; looked good, SWG was meh, but all I heard were bad reviews on TOR.

The issue with all that time, is that it's such a huge period. And from my understanding, they do have books of a number of the important events of the time. The only reason there's so much focus on the post-movie era I feel is because everyone just wants to play off of the characters as much as possible before they die. So much **** happens in the 40-50 years after, it doesn't seem realistic at all.

If anything, the lack of information could be seen as a good thing. Pre-movies the galaxy wasn't going to **** nearly as bad, and the jedi/republic pretty much kept things in line. When **** hit the fan, it hit it hard. Darth Bane, Darth Revan, etc. And the books/comics cover that really well, supposedly. Don't have much interest in the period, myself.

If I were you I'd play TOR for the lore alone. A fairly decent MMO especially because of the above-average story for an mmo, the versus is ******* bananas, the characters are all fully voiced, and honestly, it generally feels more like a single player game than an mmo. Most people hate on the game because it has a fairly weak endgame, which is generally king for an mmo. The game has these things called "flashpoints", which are like movie-sized dungeon raids with 4 members, you can generally have some outcome on how it is and it covers a lot of the best time for lore. In all seriousness, the game is worth it for the flashpoints alone, especially with a friend who knows how to play. I have a max-level sorcerer (think dark-side magic-specialized), a max level Operative ( a badass healer with dual blasters if I remember correctly) and a max level Jedi Sentinel ( a jedi tank basically), and an almost max level sith marauder, a dual-wilding lightaber who just ***** everything up. Half the fun of the game is the class-specific storylines, it's just a good game, and hell, it's free. Just avoid the pay-to-win **** in the stores, I always subscribed just to have infinite med-probes.

Not sure, didn't see a source bus sad and related
"Draco Malfoy attended Fred Weasley’s funeral. He stood in the far back, careful not to be seen, and after he thought everyone had left, he lingered a bit. He’d never let on that he secretly thought the twins were quite funny, and he was truly sorry he’d been part of the reason that Fred died. He felt that way in regards to everyone that had been hurt and lost in the war, but he could barely get up the courage to go to Fred’s funeral, let alone anyone else’s. Draco would never tell anyone he was there, and George would never tell anyone he saw him cry, apologizing to a headstone."
