I think it's graffiti, there's an old burned out abandoned brewery in town that I frequent and some of the long halls have some "shadow people" sprayed on the walls for ***** and giggles.

If I remember correctly, this photo is from a guy in I think East Germany exploring an abandoned Soviet underground something or other. He was with his friend, and I'm guessing that's him at the end there.

It's from a post on /r/no sleep. The shadow was painted on the far wall. I guess to scare people who entered.

i work as an electrician at the university I attend and one of my favorite parts of the job is seeing the creepy basements and long unused buildings or sections of buildings. i need to take more pictures

when people used to work in areas that had radiation, they used gas mask, that had spezial filters to filter the radiation duh
They worked there for rescue or other purposes ( Tschernobyl ), not to live there again since its to radiated.
When they had to get rid of the masks, they just choose some random room and pilled them up there, since the masks where to radiated for further use.
Those piles have still deadly radiation comming from them

Np. I just want to remind you that these are from a wallpaper torrent from roughly 3 years ago. These were titled "decay" not exactly abandoned but it has the same atmosphere. Didn't see the previous comps so sorry for any doubles.
