That's why I don't base my distaste on the modern-day same-sex marriage movement, what with it being called "marriage equality" on "Christianity".
I base it on.... the history of humanity as a whole.
Pretty much every culture, with varying degrees of "religiousness", make the anthropological and cultural significance of a man and a woman living together pretty blatant, compared to two people of the same sex doing something like that.
Men and women are different. They think differently. Not sexist-ly differerent, but amply different to where there is a distinction between monogamous/sexual relationships between one and the other. That's not a religion or ideology thing.
