After having a seizure and being admitted into the hospital, I woke up with sharp pain in my abdomen that would occur whenever I moved. It continued until my checkup a few weeks later. I bring it up to the doctor and he checked my abdomen. Found out I had 3 dislocated ribs. Talked to my mom who was there when I was unconscious and she said while lifting me onto the bed, one guy dropped my leg and I fell onto the floor right onto my side on the cement.

This is what happens when you pay all the smart people to be inside while the people with the 3months to 2 year education do the actually important front line work.

Given the stereotype is that a doctor's favorite phrase is "Let the nurse do it." I don't think the problem is that we're not letting them do that sort of work. It's that they feel above it, which leaves the ones with only 3 months worth of education to do it. Society's not telling them they can't do it, THEY'RE saying they don't want to do it.
