It is not Jack, It's the name he got called by the first people he met when he woke up in the future. He is Japanese and has a Japanese name which is not revealed. G- is probably something like Ganime or Gmango.

Fun Fact: The original creator of Ren and Stimpy is known widely throughout the animation world as a jackass because he never gets anything done and people always have to cover for him and do the **** he didn't.
