Go on chat support on ea support, it's really helpful. Since their help center is in india, it takes like 5 minutes to get someone to help you. All my dealings (which is alot, since EA is ridiculous) went smoothly, they even unlift my ban when my bank messed up transactions.
Even if it is an online game, Steam shouldn't have its dick in it.
Steam should only be a client downloader/launcher and database of which copies of software the users have and a means to purchase them.
except steam is a massive **** DRM that blocks if you are offline for too long.
read the user agreements some more... it's basicly what MS wanted on the xbone... but a bit longer than 24 hours.
Apparently the guys who made the original movie wanted to reboot the series a couple years ago. I think I read something about them making some new stargate films, so maybe?
However, apparently the makers of the original movie disliked the show, and the reboot would throw pretty much everything it did out of the window.
Yeah, the guys who made the original movie planned it to be a trilogy, but then the show came along and wrecked that plan.

Now, years later, after MGM bankrupted and everyone's been replaced, they've come back and are rebooting the franchise. They're ignoring everything from the series and are cutting any characters that weren't in the original movie. No Carter, Teal'c, Hammond, Bra'Tac, or any others from the show.

MGM WHY YOU DO THIS. WHYYYYY.

They should've let Joe Flanagan buy the rights to the series like he offered...
I read differently, the new reboot will be a mix of both the film and the series. Mostly because when making the series they realised a lot of what they had changed made it better but some not so much.
I just bought atlanttis bluray boxset to rewatch it.
I had no idea joe flannigan (shepherd) made a buy offer! thats sick!
Especially considering stargate was the only sci-fi hes ever done.
Yea he had a several year plan for how to continue the franchise and was backed by several investors. The deal was about to be finalized to "loan" the franchise rights to him but then MGM went under and everyone he negotiated with left the company. After they got back up on their feet he tried to approach them again but the new management had already made the deal to do the movie trilogy.
**bellbottomshark used "*roll picture*"** **bellbottomshark rolled image** I didn't like everything about Stargate but I did like the sheer amount the plot shifted from one thing to another thing.
yeah no. my gf recently bought sims 3 (or 4? idk). put it in the pc. didn't work. after about an hour on customer support they got her a new code saying one out of 10000 discs doesn't work, it happens. the new code still also didn't work.
also: can you imagine? one out of 10000 discs not working? selling a million games would mean a hundred don't work. that's a lot imo.
I've had the opposite with their support. Two out of two of my interactions with them was great. One was getting a new Battlefield3 code and the other was getting into a closed beta for titanfall just by asking. Steam support is terrible though.
tfw only Amazon has Triple Play 2000 by EA Sports for PC (it's actually good trust me), I haven't played that game in maybe 10 years, I want to play it again, but I don't trust online purchases, and no other place has it, not even Origin by EA... Is there a way I can emulate the game?
