I do like it though.
My job when I'm on here is to show how annoying it gets when someone posts the same thing over and over and over and over and over
You say that as people are wasting their own time by calling me "traitor" and downvoting me
You seem like you have nothing better to do yourself, take your advice
Be nice if they established that in the movie even if it was like a 30 second thing and not rely entirely on you to read into a separate arc that involves him.
And honestly, the whole trend can be annoying with how wrong people get it at times. Aside from pretty much calling anything that can be considered retro as 8bit, they graphics in these attempts at emulation today rarely really grab the look that inspired them to begin with.
graphics looked the way they did to accommodate CRT's. shading and details all took in to consideration scanlines and screen limitations. pixel art these days is drawn differently because those limitations are no longer around.
The words "8-bit art" have nothing to do with processors. The thing is, art is constantly evolving. When somebody makes 8-bit art, they are making stylized art with inspiration from 8-bit console games. Same goes for 8-bit music. They aren't trying to copy, they are making something new.
I'm pretty sure most indie devs completely understand what games on an 8-bit console look like because most of them grew up playing those games.
