A lot of 60fps stuff on reddit was originally filmed in 30fps. What's the point of doubling the framerate if you can't keep the same picture quality throughout?
I'm not sure myself. The stuff that gets posted on there seems to vary in quality quite frequently, so it might take some sifting to get some true 60fps stuff.
I actually have the first and all DLC, and DD2 is pleasant. It's a game that I can lay back with on easier difficulties and enjoy. I think the scaling is somewhat poor, as my roommate and I upped the difficulty by one toggle and instantly went from doing it and watching a movie to not able to do it at all, but definitely fun.
They've changed some things since pre-alpha, they just added weapons with multi-shots and such like on DD1, so it's getting there. And they seem to have increased the difficulty on some modes.
I'm still trying to find a 40+" 4k res Gaming monitor for under $400. The closest I found so far was a shellshocker deal on newegg.com that had a 49" LED HDTV 4k res for $397 (comboed with two other items I forget.) But it wasn't really made for gaming after looking at the specs, more for watching TV only..
I own two 27" monitors already from samsung, if I'm going to get one with 4 times the monitor res, I want to make sure it's larger so the icons (looking at your taskbar) still look the same in size or similar. I'll still be combining it with flux to keep blue light down as well.
I actually like the smaller size. I don't have a lot of difficulty with my vision, but being able to fit more on a screen is great. When I had a T.V. for my monitor (I think it was 38"), I had to physically move my head to see different parts of the screen. Pic added for sense of scale.
The mags were there because I just took 'em off and wanted the desk to me symmetrical, the rounds themselves are just there because I haven't put them away yet :/
Is it even physically possible to see the difference at that point? You would think by 100 or 200 fps any more would be indistinguishable to the human eye.
most monitors are 60hz, which means that the most you can see using them is 60fps, all fps over 60fps has no difference. With a higher hz monitor you will see a difference at least up to 144hz, but that is not the limit of how many fps the eye can "see".
Normal monitors are 60hz. 144hz means it can display up to 144fps, but unless you have vsync on it doesn't limit it. Fps still affects games beyond just visually as well.
I'd say your cpu is either wrong on the voltage or just bad? (im not expert on the voltage rates etc, but just throwing a stone in the dark)
I had a 3770k i7 and I kept it running on 4.6 with no problems, 50 degrees celcius was pretty much the max temp I got on games
You can seriously get a 60hz monitor for like 40$, the last screen I had was 1336x768 or something, my grandma got it from her job three years ago for free and gave it to me, and it was 60hz, could not have been more than 50$ at the time it came out. Alternatively you can get a 144hz 24" for like 270$ if you're dedicated to FPS games.
There's really few games that do it well. The Last of Us on PS4 is nice tho. It holds a steady 60 with only minor drops when it doesn't really matter, and the visuals are still nice and polished, and doesn't have 50 billion objects pop-in everywhere like most games.
The PS3 version is 720p with a locked 30 FPS, but that dips down to the 20's a lot.
The PS4 version is native 1080 and holds 60 most of the time, occasional small dips into mid 50's during heavy action, but it's really not an issue. Other than that they use higher polygon count models, higher resolution textures (and filtering), and all the draw distances / LOD's are increased too. So essentially the visuals are much cleaner looking.
Definitely worth it if you can get hold of a cheap copy. I never had a PS3 or played the game there, so I hopped straight onto the PS4 version. But just looking at youtube footage of the PS3 game makes it noticable how much worse the resolution and textures are.
Also, while you don't SEE a difference between 60 and 100+ on 60hz, you do notice that mouse movement in games becomes more snappy and responsive. So there's always some difference even if your FPS goes higher than the refresh rate.
Oh my god, you actually blocked me. I thought four year olds would be in bed around now. I'm sorry I crushed your dreams of a future in comedy, but someone had to stop you before you got boo'd off stage. Stay in school, kid.
Oh **** off. You dont have to be a virgin to hold that opinion.
I'm not saying that sex isn't hella neat, but to be so god damned dramatic about it, really makes me cringe. A virgin would be too obsessed with getting laid, to even consider the fact that dramaticising it, would be ******* silly.
dude, sex is more than just putting your dick in the vagina. you can lick it, tongue it, finger it, rub it. she can perform oral on you, give you a hand job, you can feel up each others whole body, you can do all sorts of tongue on tongue action.
and there is also any potential spanking of her, and playing with her booty. there is sexy clothing, the dirty talk, all the experimentation.
