Spiders aren't insects, they are arachnids.
When I walk I see where I step to not harm any animals, in fact if I see a caterpillar or snail on the sidewalk I help them cross it safe.
Specially spider should never been killed, they eat other harmful insects like mosquitoes.
Here is one of the thousands of spiders I had rescued from other places and release them in my home. This one is a brown widow with her eggs, they all had healthy babies now populating my garden.
