Well obviously the inside of the chest was full of air, so it was lit during the time-pause when you opened the chest but water hadn't rushed into it yet.

potatogrif (08/03/2014) [-] I only got into MGS about a year ago when I bought the HD collection for the Xbox 360 (MGS 2, 3 & Peace Walker). MGS 3 is the best of the three, in my opinion at least. I would definitely recommend anyone to get it.

hingerbinger (08/03/2014) [-] you wanna get the HD collection and if you liked them, personally i'd recommend playing MGS1 gameplay might not be all that due to it being a PS1 game, but the story and soundtrack was way ahead of it's time that way, when you play MGS4 you'll be able to experience the ultimate emotional roller coaster ride that is it's story. for real, it's ridiculous

fistoftheaxis (08/03/2014) [-] MGS 3. Get the HD version for 7th gen consoles or the Subsistence re-release for PS2. Don't get the basic Snake Eater version for the PS2, it has the ****** fixed camera.

Big Boss in MGS1 is only shown for a second or two in the briefing, but even here he has his eye patch. In MGS3 when we saw how he actually lost his eye, it blew my ******* mind.
And the fact that he starts to look exactly like in that picture with age.

thats what i would play until my mother got me silent hill thinking it sounded peaceful the ps2 rolled around and i got it played mgs 2 cried when snek wasnt the main character and hated raiden just for that reason, not the fact he was a ******* baby
got mgs 3 and lapped every second up, countless replays i brought a ps3 just for number 4 and a psp for mgspo and peacewalker
salad snak was my first crush, the butt and dat torture scene tho
then naked snek, bigger badder goofier
